  1. It's no secret. It's a copy of the popular HydroGlow light. I use my HydroGlow light several times a year. I even took it to Lake Fork for the BassResource Roadtrip. You set it up and wait, and wait, and wait. It takes at least an hour or two to attract the numbers of baitfish they are claiming to get in ten minutes. But it does work eventually. Now as for this specific product you are talking about. The first thing that strikes me when I opened the link is that the format of the web page is the exact format as dozens of fishing scams I've seen over the years. Then there is the first line. "Want to MORE THAN DOUBLE your catches instantly100% Guaranteed?" Yea.... Right : Your catches of what? What are you targeting. Hopefully not largemouth or any other black bass. There are no guarantees in fishing. I would recommend putting your hands on one first. Quality of construction is everything. If the thing leaks or doesn't float right you are wasting your money.
  2. I have a few of the hardhead swimbait and none of them ever swam straight. They sucked. The kickin shad on the other hand is great. I had several good days with one last spring.
  3. Yep, Randall's rods look like he got them from a yard sale. lol But the man can catch some monsters with them. I would recomed the Dobyns 806 ML. This rod was designed by Mike Long. He owns the record books in Cali and know what a great swimbait rod should feel like.
  4. I get the greatest distance out of the right rod and a well maintained reel.
  5. Put it on a pro model Spot Remover and see what happens. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1114412305
  6. GMAN made me a bunch of the football jigs and they look great. The attention to detail is impressive.

That's the jig that Davy Hite won the Elite Tournament on Clarks Hill with 2 years ago. It was a topwater bonanza and he walked away with it with this jig.
  8. It's worth it to by a good paper map even if you have a good GPS. I have lake maps on my laptop, handheld GPS and when I get my Humminbird 979 I will have the best on it but I will still buy a paper map to study with.
  9. Please, for your security, it might be a good idea to remove your personal contact information for this post. You don't know who's looking. People can contact you through you Personal Messages
  10. I don't have anything particular in mind. I'm just going to use what I've got. I have a tackle shop worth of lures in my possession and I don't see the need to add to them this year.
  11. Yes. Max depth of Varner is like 30 ft and Randall catches them with spoons all winter long and all over the lake.
  12. I don't even want to talk about it. >
  13. That's odd. He's been gone sence Sep 13th with no indication. I hope he's ok.
  14. A couple of my friends will get there on Monday but I will be there Sunday sometime. I have a 5 1/2 hour drive.
  15. Take some pictures for evidence when or if it goes to court. I have seen things like this get swept under the rug.
  16. The feeling that I should have been born 150 years ago. The knowledge that there is a DD bass somewhere out there with my name on it. Stupid People The tast of.................Hold on a minute.....I've got a hair stuck in my tooth.
  17. So how come you don't have the state record then? Oklahoma state record: 14 lbs 11.5 oz I think he said he caught that one at Clear Lake, CA. I think this one has run it's course and people have formed their opinions. I'm going to lock it up before it gets worse.
  18. I'll let Triton Mike know about this one. I think he just wrote an article about it for Inside Line. He'd be glad to come on and give what he knows about deep spooning. (40+ feet)
  19. Keep it clean Muddy, Avid, Long Mike, and LBH. I know what you're thinking.
  20. Now that's one we can make come true, in about a month that Fluke is gonna be deadly on the big pond. Problem right now is my back and I'm about 3 to 4 months from a new boat. I can wait. I'll still be around next year.
  21. Or the incredibly dark color of the bass in 40 degree water?
  22. I'm not kidding when I say this. My dream trip would be three days on Toledo Bend with Catt and his buddies.
  23. He's right about the weather that day. I checked it out. http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KFSI/2008/1/2/DailyHistory.html?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA
  24. Most people don't show up untill Monday anyway.
