Drop shot sinker surplus
Are they the round ones? Me and many of my friends that dropshot prefer the tear drop shape one. They sell like hotcakes. Mainly because they are so hard to find.

Clarks Hill - Lake Thurmond Bass Clubs
OH man I think the last count was like 38 clubs on Clarks Hill. The best thing to do is go to American Sportsman in Martinez and ask them. They should have several contact numbers for ya. By the way, Welcome to the forum. I live in Evans and I get out to The Hill quite often. There are several other members of this forum that fish it to.

Livewell issues
Just a personal note. Please do not use Rejuvenade. Recent independant studies show that it doesn't calm the fish and it has a high rate of post release death. I use Catch and Release or Please Release me and a couple of Large Gatoraid filled with water and Frozen. It keeps the fish calm and healthy. I also hear that Skeeter and a couple of other boat companies are designing some insulated livewells for production in the next few years.

Jon boat mod question
I use 2x2's with Simpson Strong tie Brackets. It saves a ton of weight and if you use 3/8in ply it will hold up a truck. Check out the sticky at the top. It might give you some ideas.

Suggested weedless jigheads please...
Spot Stalker just like Randall. You can rip it out of the weeds and it will come up clean.

Length of fish in a tourney
Most of the tournament I have fished the min. size limit was 12inches unless the lake has a limit greater than that. One of my lakes is 14inches. When I do a fantasy tournament I usually try to catch at least a 10lb limit. But that depends on the lake.

Spreading myself too far?
I just think you are making to much of it. From what I see you have learned to fish a T-Rig and a Senko. That's a great start. The fact that you are trying to get better on a baitcaster is great to. Keep messing around and trying a couple of things at a time. You are doing fine.

Fluke Trouble
You need to make sure that the hook is straight down the middle of the fluke. After you are finished putting the hook in the fluke should look exactly like it does without the hook. No bends.

Pro's and fishing nets

Drifting in Jonbaot while anchored
Get a second anchor and tie it off to the other half of the boat. Put it out at a 45 to 90 degree angle from the first anchor.

Help!
In that case I would add one more M 6'8" or 7' to your rods. The Clarus is a great rod.

So whatcha paying for gas?
2.53 across the river in South Carolina.

Help!
Slow down. You don't need to match rods to lures when you are just getting started just go out there and learn two or three different lures or rigs. I would suggest a Texas Rigged worm with 1/4oz bullet sinker and a RoadRunner on that UL.
