  1. Correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't it Raul that panned the term "The Bait Monkey".
  2. You've been talking to Lane haven't you.
  3. I kept the book and completed the set on ebay for 12 bucks. 8-)
  4. I don't have time to find the report but National Geographic went down there and dug the thing up and did some studies on it and put togeather a report on it. Maybe I'll try to find it sometime tonight.
  5. Nope. There are plenty of great crankbaits out there for less than 8 bucks that work just as **** if not better.
  6. That's great. PM Avid and let him know what days you might be there so we will have food for ya each night. I will put you on the list.
  7. For something less snaggy than a Spot Remover or any Ball Head Jig I always go to a Spot Stalker. http://www.unclejosh.com/bassstalker/modules/cart/navigate.php/nav_id/73 It was designed by Triton Mike and it excels in grass, rocks and timber.
  8. LOL. She's not a bait dealer. She just has good connections. She and her husband own Sure Life Labs. The makers of Please Release me livewell additive.
  9. Congrats on your promotion. So are you coming for sure? If so we will put you on the list.
  10. I thought that nunya had given one up. You are a sad individual.
  11. I am worried that some of you that will be at Fork will end up as "Boatless Bank Trash". So if you think you are going to show up be left out on the shore please PM me and let me know and I try to get things fixed for ya.
  12. I just got the Grizzly Hobbie Lathe for Christmas. ReelMech uses one to. It sets up easy and takes up very little space in the shop. Now I'm just waiting on the cork from Mudhole.
  13. The best thing I did on my boat, and I will do it on every build, is to buy a peice of an anti-fatigue runner from Lowes and glue it down under the carpet in the places that I will be standing the most. This has made those long days of fishing very comfortable.
  14. It's kinda hard to explain but to qualify it. I was raised by an engineer who taught me to build things but forgot to teach me how to explain how I built them. I find the center line of the boat and run a tight string down it. Then I measure from the string to the edge of the boat every 10 inches and transfer that measurment onto my wood that also has a centerline drawn. Then I connect the marks and start cutting.
  15. I agree. Keep the size of the fish the same and tuck it up in the arch a little.
  16. striperone, You are as bad as me. Packed full of useless knoledge. But that's pretty cool.
  17. White Trash with Money.
  18. What ever my wife cooks. Weather it's burnt or not I still love it.
  19. George, you said a mouthfull. This is the answer
  20. Have you read all the beginners fishing articles on this site?
  21. It happens to me every time I go into the Wal-Mart in the town where I grew up. I always run into x-girlfriends that I should remember. It's kinda funny.
  22. My Father-in-Law swears by Frogg Toggs but I watch him buy a new set every year. That is a waste of money IMO. Your better off spending the extra cash for something that will last for a long time. Get the uninsulated ones and by them one size larger so you can layer up.
  23. Me too. They will last you for years and are much better than Frogg Toggs. Frogg Toggs tear easy.
  24. My desktop did the same thing and I haven't been able to fix it. I refuse to do it to my laptop. The new IE stinks.
