Central Georgia Club?
Above ATL isn't exactly Central Georgia but what lake do you live nearest to or fish the most?

Costa 580 Glass Lens
I've had a set delaminate also. They have a great warranty so it should be easy to get the fixed or replaced.

Hardest Thing I Have Ever Done
Is your home computer hooked up with Skype of something like it? I wish it would have been around back in my Army days. Is your wife close with any other families in your unit? I'm assuming they have a family support organization or something like it. It really helps the family out while you are away. It will go by fast bro. Just stay busy. Keep you eyes open and your head down. Don't do anything stupid without letting the other guys know first. That way the can cover you stupid butt. lol Check in from time to time but spend as much internet time that you can talking with your family. Take care and thanks for what you are doing.

Dobyns Jig Rod
Yes, the 735 is what I would get.

Rain
All it means is more water in the lakes come Spring. (Unless you fish a Corp of Engineer Lake) I've never heard of anyone equating it to a better year of fishing.

What Kevin says makes sense. I have about half and half Revos and Diawa Advantage Reels but I find myself fishing only the Revos. I would have to say it's all about the consistent feel of the same reel. Same thing with the rods. All my rods are Dobyns Rods and I don't see a reason to change because they fit me.- How To Catch A 10-Pound Trophy Bass
Awesome read!!!!- Best Finesse Jigs And Trailers?
I'm a Bitsy Bug and Baby Rage Craw guy. It's a deadly combination all year long.- New Pb!!!!!
Cliff, That's awesome man. I'm very happy for you. Congrats.- Paging Dr. Dobyns...
I can tell you that Dobyns makes the lightest Glass Rods I've ever used. I have every one that they make and wouldn't sell them for any price. As for topwater a 704 sould be fine. I prefer the 702C just because I primarily throw a Spook Jr. It also works great for a lipless crank.- How Long Before You Change?
As soon as his catching makes me loose confidence in what I'm fishing with.- Walmart Stepped It Up, Amazing
The reason they stepped it up is because they fired the French Guy that they brought on several years ago to revamp the store design. He's the one who got rid of so many tackle and craft/fabric departments in many stores. Well last year Wal-Mart finally realized that their bottom line had been heavily damaged by this Guy so they canned him and hired some "Good Ol Boy" from Alabama. Things should slowly start to look better at Wally World.- Copolymer....
I've been using Izorline XXX copoly for years and I don't have any reason to change. My dropshot rod has fluorocarbon on it and my frog rod has braid. Every other rod has Izorline. I get mine off of ebay for 12 - 15 dollars for a 1/4 lb spool.- Just Got Word From Bass Pro!
That's great news. I may have to start going back to them.- Bang O Lure
Look up the number for Aberdeen Bait and Tackle in Aberdeen, NC. They have just about everything new and old. If it's hard to find they usually have it. They'll ship it out to you.- Recommend Me A Good Scale!
My scales are Brass Chatillon Scales. I have a 6lb one that measures in 1oz increments for bluegill and a 15 lb one that measures in 4oz increments . The 6lb scale is IGFA certified. You can find them for around 60 bucks.- Better Check Your Dick's
Mine's doing fine thanks.... I just checked to make sure.- Kel-Tec (Owners)
I don't own one but the President of my Hunting Club owns several, including the 3at. He is a retired armored truck driver and shoots all the time. I can tell you that he has nothing but good things to say about his Kel-Tec guns. As for the customer service side of it I have no clue but the next pistol that I buy is going to be a Kel-Tec.- Northeast Al Fisherman!
Welcome to the family. You've found the best.- Bucket Fisherman
I call them "Government Sponsored Fishermen". We had one find a way past the razor wire fence on Richmond Mill and started fishing the dam right in front of the office. By the time we caught him he had three 4lb bass in his bucket. All he had to say for himself was, "I didn't see a No Trespassing Sign". Like the razor wire didn't give him any hints. Why some people think that you can trespass as long as you are only fishing is beyond me.- Matching Hook Size To Bait
Here's a good article. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/hook-selection.html- Tips On This Spot?
Is that a no boat with motor zone? Because I would be there in a kayak or canoe in a heartbeat if they would allow that. What interests me is the spot above it under the Google. It looks like another submerged pond. Look under the first "o" in Google and you can see an old boat slip that is under water now. - Mixing Brands?
