Bassmaster classic problems
I love it. This will be the one tournament where they will not be fishing a lake during it's prime time. This will separate the best from the rest. We will actually be able to see if these guys really..... and I mean really know how to find fish and catch them any time and anywhere.

Any bowhunters out there?
Buy a used two or three year old bow. Then go to a bow shop and get help tuning it for you.

Transplanting Florida Strain Bass
I would suggest having F1 bass stocked. You get the fast growth rate and the hyper aggressiveness in a fish that can stand the colder climates. I'm pretty sure most states will let you stock from hatcheries in other states. We are stocking the fish in our North Carolina Lake from a hatchery in Oklahoma. The best thing to do is call a biologist in your state. Not a state biologist but one who deals with private waters. Or you can go to www.pondboss and ask Bob Lusk.

Lure naming game.
It's hard to play when the first one is nearly impossible. I've searched all over the net and can't find anything that matches it.

Another "tell me what to buy" thread...
So when you buy your jigs you need to get several different ones in several different colors in a couple of different weights. Living rubber skirts have a different action than silicon ones do. Get some of both. Living rubber skirts should not be trimmed but silicon can be. If you want to know why just take a look at the action in a fish tank. Get natural colors. Browns, Green Pumpkin, Watermelon for clear to stained water. Black, and Black and blue if you fish muddy or stained water. Trailers fall along the same line. 3/8oz and 1/2 oz are good starters. Go lighter if you are fishing for smallies or you want a slower fall. My favorite jigs are: 1. Buckeye Mop Jig 2. Custom jig that I make (basically a Mop Jig with my own little twists) 3. O Nelly Arkey Jig (Great for skipping docks)

What confidence baits are you running low on? What lure or technique do you want to learn this year? Check your supply of fishing line. Is it low? Answer those quesions and you have a good start.

First Order of JJ's
How did they dry up? I've had several bottles in a drawer in my garage for a couple of years now and they are still full.

Differences in Frogs
The house brand has silicon skirt material for legs and no rattles. The TT brand has living rubber legs and a rattle. Personally I love living rubber legs. They flair out when you stop the bait adding more action. But the most important thing to me is can you walk the dog with it? Both bodies can look exactly the same but one may walk easier/better than the other.

Differences in Frogs
They are exactly the same frog because they are exactly the same link. ;D

JJ's New Buzz Frog.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! It is sweeeeet. I've been fishing a version of one for the last year or so. But I just got a few of the final product. Come on warm weather. It's an in-line buzz bait with a weighted frog hook. It's a fish catching machine and has already won a couple of tournaments down here.

Is there one that haunts you?
Sounds like a beaver to me. lol ;D There is one fish for me. It was back when I was stationed at Ft Gordon, GA. I was fishing one fo the many lakes on the back of post in a borrowed 10ft jon boat. It was a beaver dam lake that was a pain to get the boat into but it was full of fish. I made a cast with a fluke up into a beaver ditch that went into a den and saw the flash of a fish. I set the hook and she came out of the water. It was huge. I don't know how big but it is still the largest bass I've seen in real life. She made one run up that ditch and the drag on my cheep, peice of crap Shimano spinning reel caught and the line broke. This is the fish that still drives my motivation to this day.
