  1. I still bust a gut every time I read it.
  2. I'm excited that you are able to go clipper. This will be the first roadtrip for you and the second for your boat. ;D
  3. Thank you bizz. Thanks for assuring me that what I was thinking about doing is ok to do. Sometimes I need a kick in the pants.
  4. This year is going to be all about locating bass. That's it.
  5. If you are going to drive then it's probably better to tow your boat. The difference in cost of gas to drive with or without a boat will be nowhere near as expensive as renting one after driving all that way. Also take into consideration what shape your trailer is in. If it's good then you're good. We hope to see you there.
  6. Decribe the rod and the line you were useing. How did you set the hook? (Straight up or to the side)
  7. I live by the 100ft rule....... Unless we are holding a good conversation then you can get closer.
  8. GMAN's Jigs.
  9. Welcome to the family.

  11. Paca chunk
  12. Our busiest time of the year is the spring. But Bass Resource is the busiest of all the bass websites 365 days a year.
  13. Mepps spinner with the little red straw on the hook and a copper #0 blade. It's the best trout spinner I have ever heard of or used.
  14. This past summer I saw a guy who had just been released from the Emergency Room and was signing his discharge papers. Down the back of both arms was tattooed WHITE POWER. I couldn't believe that this young man would label himself like that. I found out later that he had come to the Emergency Room because he had just had the crap beat out of him. I hope he gets used to that.
  15. Cut a notch in the tail like the Ultra Vibe.
  16. Hey! Good guess, I spend alot of time on the coosa river, I also try to frequent the etowah and the ostanaula. The stripers are awesome in the etowah! Oh it wasn't a guess. I cut my teeth on Lake Allatoona. My Father-in-Law (aka clipper) lives up your way and my sister lives in Rome. I know that area very well and you're right, the striper fishing is amazing in the Etowah.
  17. I think Btech was looking for someone to split his room. I just PM'd him and asked him to contact you.
  18. It saddens me to see all my brothers of the North suffering through this hard water delema :'( ........................................NOT!!!!! I'll be back on the lake Monday morning.
  19. I know there are 1 or 2 guys looking to split room costs.
  20. LBH owns a few copyrights. Check with him.
  21. Spoken like a true professional.
  22. With a good color fish finder you can tell if the grass on the bottom is dead or alive. You can pick a fish out of a brush pile. And with enough experiance you can tell the type of fish...... I will never go back to gray scale fish finders. As for you question. It will be hard to find a good one under 350. Here is the cheepest one I could find. It's 220. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10200012_250003001_250000000_250003000_250-3-1
  23. You are handy. You should be able to do it yourself. (Level and Plumb)
