  1. also, do rough opening installs if you can swing it, much better over the pocket installs.
  2. ive been in the window business for almost 20 years and i wouldnt have Anderson windows for free. the reason for this is the hardware is cheap, the glass however is some of the best on the market. i install Alside, Milgard, and Sunrise. out of those 3 i like Sunrise the best. i wouldnt install the Milgard Ultras in my house. reason being the hardware again. Milgard Tuscany is a great unit. anything Sunrise or Alside will be a good unit, the glass in the Alside units being a lesser grade. as far as vinyl goes, dont let that stop you. if installed correctly youll have no problems. another option is Heartland. .. Guardian Climaguard is what i put in my new house, and i love them. feel free to pm me with quotes and questions.
  3. i hope you washed you boat VERY good before launching
  4. i have that same rod and i use it for anything and everything. i personally dont like it for lipped crank baits. it makes a great lipless rod if youre fishing grass.

  10. fished Melvern yesterday. 8 different species of fish. more largemouth in the back of the coves. smallies came on cranks and white curly tail grubs bounced through points on the back of current. boated a new PB walleye. 5 lbs, 1 oz.
  11. id go to the local Wal-Mart and buy a medium priced Shakespeare combo and go fish. you can match your gear to your skill level as it improves.
  12. Ive found buying gear doesnt take the place of fishing any longer. Id rather fish for an hour myself.
  13. every time i touch my key to fire the motor.
  14. im losing it seems half the smallies after the strike and hook-set. that said, i change 99% of my hooks to a #4 which is bigger to the point the hooks will tangle once in a while. it is possible the bigger hook is hurting my hook ups on the smallies? i dont have this problem fishing the largemouth waters.
  15. thats my favorite set-up. 7' M/MF. it does a lot of things.

  22. i have one of the old Woo Daves BPS Extreme cam-lock rods in MH/F and its been a great rod. it is a heavy rod in my hands but its not tip heavy. i have had different reels strapped to it over time, currently a Zillion lives on it. i love the combo.
