Most likely 4-10 feet. It seems that they weren't actively feeding on baitfish. They wouldn't touch Chatterbaits, cranks or rattletraps, just hitting on jigs and 10inch worms. I don't know very much about this place. Without depth finder or topo I can't stray too far from shore. I tend to listen to the weather more and more lately. My buddy asked if I wanted to go back yesterday, knowing that it was going to be a clear day I said no. Needless to say he got skunked.

I decided to hit up the Rez on Saturday morning. The conditions were perfect. After three motor exchanges at the rental office we were off, slammin fish on a black blue jig. We boated seven until the clouds opened up and the sun came out. My buddy beat me in numbers 5-2, but I had the two biggest.

I've only fished it a few times. I had success with a quick retrieve with twitches through schools of baitfish being chased. I was fishing it a little last weekend when I was trying to get it to u-turn, it would almost always tangle the line in the front hook. I mean it would turn around fine but whats the use if you have to reel it back in to untangle the line afterwards... Let us know how you do.

Funniest fishing story I've ever heard.

Nothin like a slight breeze, just enough to be able to rock a hoodie. I've had enough of these dog days, My personal best last year came on 12/29/06. But for the most part I think your right mid Sept.- Nov. I took a week off starting the first day of Autumn. ;D
