  1. A Game can be a good or bad thing. You can get way to serious and get stressed out a lot easier imo. Have a gameplan and relax. I think when I relax I fish better then when I'm up tight and on a schedule.
  2. Monster Quest, I was watching that too, show was crazy. People are reporting 5 black mountain lion/puma/panther/jag creatures to every one regular colored mountain lion. It is a trend that started in the Plain States, especially Oklahoma, but is now spreading as far east as WV, Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. And they are supposed to be very big. Even showed how one took down and destroyed a lama.
  3. One of my favorites is on right now, The 40 Year Old Virgin.
  4. Got a bunch of SK cranks in Sexy Shad too, most of mine are series 1's though. Also got a ton of baits from ***. And $175 in gift cards to BPS 8-)
  5. Tin replied to FHUAngler's topic in Fishing Reports
    Nice fish. HUGE head.
  6. I think the battery will run out before you make it to 295 to get the boat Wonder if you can make it to Jefferson Blv. for work :
  7. Good point. lol, He is always around and takes advantage of the holiday season.
  8. I'm a NY Reservoir fisherman and when I opt to fish either a 4 or 5 inch Stickbait it's either Green Pumpkin or Watermelon with black flake. Yup, in the northeast, I think those are the only two colors you need.
  9. Santa and the Bait Monkey are a secret alliance...Ok I get tons and tons and tons of jigs from Santa. But guess what??? No jig trailers, so now I have to go buy them. I get lots of Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps, so now I have to go get all new trebles. It's like the whole batteries not included scheme. :
  10. Very nice. Congrats
  11. Thanks dad. Ok hard to tell but the Pro Max is a little bigger than the Revo's but it fits your hand better imo. Probably just a personal preference but unless I have the extra $$ laying around for the STX or Premier I will go with the Pro Max.
  12. I think you hit it on the head with that one. 100% right.
  13. I would rather spend the money than get frustrated and have my fingers stuck together. Definatley looking into these then doing it myself. Not worth the aggravation.
  14. If you feel comfortable or its your style, you might want to check out a medium/medium light spinning set-up for finesse fishing and a medium-heavy to heavy action casting set up for pitching and fishing heavy cover
  15. I was worried about that when I got mine too. But I have reels on them that weigh 7.5-just under 9 ounces and it doesnt through them out of balance and it feels great imo. Dont need to spend the big bucks.
  16. Spinning: For finesse fishing and little baits/light line. So can present and work lighter baits better, imo. Casting: For heavy cover and heavier baits. So YOU are in control of a fish in heavy cover and you can work heavier baits. One is not better than the other imo. 8-)
  17. Yup or you could go to braid. 30 lbs line with the diameter of 8lb line. 10 with the diameter of 2lbs line. Just for a few examples, but it can be very visible in clearer waters.
  18. I mean the 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story on TBS. And my family likes to watch it for almost all of those 24 hours. A leg lamp and a pink bunny suit are only funny so many times.
  19. Ok, I will have my sis do it. I cant get it, but they will be up asap.
  20. Not to mention texas rigging for heavy cover or imo the best way http://www.***.com/descpageTERMYAMA-YSTW.html
  21. That could be the best present ever. I would give up all my presents to see smallies getting stocked in certain lakes in RI and surviving. The true, gift that would keep on giving.
  22. Says the pics are too big the post up... :-?
  23. Ok things I like about the Pro Max... -A little bigger profile is more comfortable in my hands than the Revo S's -Bigger reel that holds more line but is almost an ounce lighter. And that .8 difference on the Carrot Stix is very noticable. -Reels much smoother than my S's. Maybe I got defected Revo's, idk, but the Pro Max definatley reels smoother imo. Things I don't like.... -The color - Way to good to be true lol. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me if I blew it up only a few trips in. Besides that, 8 stainless bearings for the Revo to 7 for the Pro Max, Revo S is 6.4:1 the ProMax is 6.2:1, both have the Duragear Brass Gears. IDK if it is just personal preference but I know there are others out there that think it is a great reel as well. The Black Max, wont put it in the category of these two reels, but non the less good for the money. Nothing too special though.
