  1. I was wondering about the peanut jimz, because the one I have the stock hooks were catching together.
  2. i really enjoy those guys too. you can really get them to walk, splutter, and flip out of the water. smallies love em too!
  3. Have you fished the peanuts before? The rapala flat 7's are a killer. I just picked up some of that berkley flouro too, hopefully I'll get a chance to throw it tomorrow.
  4. you can match the skirt, black and blue shirt with black with blue flake trailer. Accent the a color of the skirt with the trailer, black and blue skirt with a sapphire blue trailer. Or mix and match to make a combination that you like. A green pumpkin skirt with a black or a pumpkin trailer.
  5. The spinnerbait and terminal boxes are awesome!
  6. If I had the loot I would be in a Hobie Mirage, or whatever their foot powered kayak is. Those things are nice!
  7. You did get those 25 bands I sent you, right? It's not a big deal, just more on principle than anything else. Some watermelon BW, with red glitter skirt tabs would be just fine. However many you want to part with.

Keep calling. I just got my refund today on a reel I returned over a month ago. My stuff shipped out really fast, but took too many phone calls to get my money back. They seem pretty hit or miss.

Nothing fugly about those big m
  10. I dunno, after our last trade went
  11. That sounds awesome. How about in may? Lacrosse is in full swing. I'll bring a camera They are weedless, just without weedguards. I wait until I have a bunch to do to get the most out of my epoxy. Do you use a super glue gel? Any brand suggestions...just a tiny bit easier to work with.
  12. Thank you Allen. There is a lot more light pumpkin in that sunny spinner than showed up, but you are sure right about bluegill being a tricky color. the footballs are 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4
  13. Chartreuse shad, sunny, baby bass. This is actually watermelon red, darm melon, and brown. A close up of Cool Green The lot of em Hopefully will be used this weekend
  14. As someone stated before, check out mattlures baby bass and mattlures east coast yellow perch. You can throw them on a rod rated up to an ounce just fine. You probably see plenty of juvenile bass and perch mixed in with those sunnies, yum! If you go to matt's sight and follow his advice on how to properly prepare your swimbait before throwing for the first time, it will greatly increase the longevity of your bait. Also a bottle of mend it or pro soft bait glue is a must. What is the fish of the trip, month, year, decade, lifetime worth to you?
  15. Perhaps the new go should go easy on himself? They look very nice!
  16. I've read knowing bass: a scientific approach, by Keith Jones. I borrowed it from the library, read it, and promptly bought a copy.
  17. I have the mag. jig and toad. Casts well, sets hard, and turns the fish. Only complaint is that the rear grip is solid cork, making the rod very tip heavy and balancing a tricky. They've gotten very mixed reviews on this site. This might have been to first generation reel seats and line guides. I believe, not 100% here, that they're using fuji for both now. try searching the site, there has been a lot of discussion on them.
  18. You can find oval spit rings for a dollar or two at barlows, jann's, etc. No chance to tie onto those sharp points with those. I'm going to try snaps this season. I've heard good things about these. I think they're rated at 75 lbs, but I could be making that up. Anyone try em?
  19. dave, denatured alcohol
  20. flicker shad, baby bass, black
  21. I don't think the carrot stix would make a good spinnerbait and crankbait rod if you're fishing shallow, weedy, ponds. It won't have the stiffness to pop a spinnerbait through the grass.
  22. Mike D from Lunkville lands a bigger fish than should be in central park and speaks with Doug Hannon about 3/4 of the way through. One question Mike brings up is mashing the barb. Follow this link and hear it from the Bass Professor's mouth. http://www.rockville.tv/lunkerville/episode5cp.html
  23. No problem Ron. 8-)
  24. Welcome to Bass Resource! If your crank is running to the right, turn the eye to left. If running to the left, turn the eye to the right. I don't use/haven't tried snaps on my cranks, I'm sure someone with more details will be along.
  25. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10677 If you can't access this link, go to TU, become a member. Go down to the bottom of the forums page and find member submitted tutorials. Find the tutorial on PoP molds. Read. If you have questions, exhaust the search button as they have probably been asked and answered before. Good luck, I'm looking forward to see your sweet creations.
