Terrible news. He was a piece of work, he got you excited in a (basically) slow game. Unfortunately, the tigers ruined his arm and what might have been a long and great career. If you like baseball and are too young to have seen him pitch, try to find some film somewhere. The tigers were not a very good team, but when the bird was on the mound, there would be a sell-out either home OR away. godspeed.....

Sounds like alot of you have poor planing skills, but, nobody asked me. If you needed something next week, why didn't you order it a month ago? Do you really NEED to have this rod/reel/lure/tacklebox/whatever in a week? You are as messed-up as the people you are angry with. As for the shipping charges- it is dumb to not charge by weight, but that way their employees don't have to know how to read a scale! Going out today for the first trip of the year. This time of the season i usually wait until the afternoon to go out (let the water warm a little), but i can't wait that long. I am so geeked i got up at 5am and couldn't go back to sleep. So, it's BR until i kill a little time. Got the boat ready yesterday, will probabally leave around 9am this morning. The feathered trailer hook looks great, but not the way you mount it. A trailor hook needs to swing freely. (not rigid mounted)

Our beloved George Kell past away Tuesday morning. Played in MLB for around 15 yrs. I think he was an 8 yr. all-star for the Detroit Tigers,and was their tv broadcaster when i was growing up. Even though he lived to 86 y/o , it's still a sad day for me. EVERYONE in Detroit loved you George...

I have a 7'ml guide series (spin) that i bought 4 yrs. ago and have no problem with it. It's my dropshot rod.

You can use but not sell. Am i missing something? Tell me how exactly that decreases the lead in the water.

Houghton lake ! I've only fished it about 5 times and i love it. I would start near the southeast corner and work my way to the marina there. I have caught fish about everywhere but the north end of the lake. Hopefully it won't be too windy on your visit.

Michigan. Do i really think it is the best? No. But- i will say this- i don't think i'd like 90 degree days for weeks on end, or only having 1 or 3 lakes within a 2hrs drive no matter how big they are, or nothing but shallow (or deep) lakes, or paying to fish on a lake.

I think it was interesting with Kim in the classic. I do not (hope not) think bernie and others were upset with kim, but with b.a.s.s. for letting her in. (it's not her fault) Folks put up $100g's to fish the series last year, and women fished 4 (?), so does she deserve it? B.A.S.S. thinks so. Maybe next year they will let me in because i won 4 of 5 tourneys i had against my fishin buddy last year!
