Lk. St. Clair
As far as i know, inland lakes are catch & release year 'round. Not sure about St. Clair though....

Ande fishing line
Never used it in any form or color, but you asked. Plus i don't like my odds at catching any record-breaking fish anytime soon.
-
Bait dryer
I'd like to see it run in FF! ;D

Tuning Baits
IMHO, remove the split ring and use a snap.(except for "sunken" line ties) I look at a split ring and see two sharp edges. Why would i tie my line that close to two sharp edges, instead of changing baits in 3 seconds? I have never had a snap break either....

Warmouth
Thanks d/p, they look good, wish i could see the tops a little better though....

Warmouth
Dang! I can't get the pics.... and i know Dampeoples got some big-time skills too.

If you could ask a pro
LBH was FEELIN' it! Yeah, i'd ask em if i could go fish with him. Lots of good questions though fellers....

Super Shad Rap
My standard pike/deep crank rig - 5600c4/7'6" mh flipstik,14# line. I was tired of catching dinks, made a cast and thought i had a hit. Made the 2nd cast and it hit hard. 20.5" and 4-12. I still use it every once in a while, maybe i should use it more..

Super Shad Rap
I caught my pb LM on the perch color.

Why don't more pro's use left hand baitcasters?
Back when i started fishing, i don't think you had a choice! ;D ;D I cast both handed and retrieve both handed, AT THE SAME TIME!!! winter is starting to get to me man...8 more weeks to go

Rules of color?
Any color you want. If someone giggles at your color choice, outcatch them and maybe they'll think twice next time...

What's your favorite Bluegill crank bait for Bass?
I agree with Raul - most of the time it doesn't matter if one matches the hatch. Look thru your catalogs and notice the majority of cranks look like nothing in nature, but all will catch a fish. With that said, most of my cranks are "natural"- looking, and my fave "bluegill " crank is a Bandit Flat Maxx. But hey- i had no college but i've got experience...

Drop Shotting
First tried (and liked) mosquito hooks, then the "standouts", and got tired of my line catching on the standout hook. Now it's back to the mosquito hook, 8-) and will use it almost every time i go out. (fishing, that is) ;D ;D beat you wiseguys to it.

Lets talk jig heads
Painted or unpainted, both work fine. Don't like to contrast very much though.

Jigs vs cranks
Water temp/season? Over 60* i would crank first. Would try both though....

Spinning vs B/C for Worm & Jig Fishing
I agree with LBH, but my rod would only pull you off the porch. I don't flip, but do pitch some (clear water), and bc is quieter, but most of my worming/jigging is done away from the bank. My 7' mh/3500 size spin reel works just fine for me with 8 or 10# line. To me, spinning is just more comfortable.
-
round vs low pro
I use both, but for some unknown reason use my lopros for all but my biggest cranks and c-rigs.
-
What's the oldest you got?
I lost my True Temper "UNISPIN" years ago, but i do still have a Zebco cardinal 4 that was not quite as popular as my old Mitchell 300c's. Yes, they are retired....
-
lipless cranks
I mostly throw the old Cordell hot spot (1 knocker), but will use traps, raps, super spots. My least favorite is the SK diamond shad. I also remove the rear hook and swap out the front 2 sizes bigger than stock.
-
Whats your favorite Lucky Craft bait?
I'm with LBH- none in my boat either. I do okay also.....
-
Beat up hardbaits?
Fourbizz- i feel your pain. Good idea, hope you get some response. Hope nobody will paint 4 for every 5..... :

What's the make-up of your lake?
Natural, clear lakes under 1500 acres. Most have depths to at least 50',no standing timber, very little rock, all kinds of weeds, visibility to 8' minimum. Houses on just about every inch of shoreline, very little pressure from "good" anglers, and a lot of pike. There is about 20 lakes like this within a 45 minute drive from my house. I love it.

Take a minute to Mourn a Michigan angler and great guy.
Never heard of the man, but would consider him a fishing brother. How tragic at such a young age. My thoughts go out to his family and friends, and all who knew him. Life can be short - love all you can.

If you could only fish ONE lure the rest of your life....
If i could only use 1 lure, i would quit fishing. I can't pick one lure. Someone would have to pick it for me. I don't think i could pick 1 just for the day. It would be a soft plastic of some sort, but you make good arguments for jigs. Okay, i wouldn't quit fishing, but i know that i wouldn't go nearly as often. It's too much fun catching them on different lures/techniques. Well, maybe i would go out just as many times, but would enjoy it less. (at least you are fishing). Who am i kidding? I would fish with 1/2 of a lure, and couldn't wait until the next time i go out...
