Drinking and fishing ???
1981 a guy handed me a beer while out on the lake. I poured it out after he left. I have no problem with someone having a few beers in my boat, I just do not do it.

Off to Hawaii for 9 days-Peacock & LMBass
Thanks Mike. I think I'll just tell the stewardess that I'll take three Vicodin and a shot of whiskey when she ask and that will probably get me there.

Nice boat. It's a long cry from the stick steered Skeeter I started in years ago.- discontinued cranks?
The original Cordell Big O. The ones that came in the egg carton. Not sure what the color name is, but it is a shad type color.- Adjust while fishing?
I will back off some during the fight if I'm hooked up to a large fish and I am out over open water. I then use my thumb to apply pressure if need be.- Visiting Lake Conroe to do some bass fishing

If you want to keep the warranty intac you best run what Mercury says to.- How do GPS units work....
No need to purchase an additional card. They come preloaded. The only reason you would want a card like Navionics is if you are interested in a more detailed map with depth contours.- Best GPS/ Fishfinder on a Budget?
The older LCX15mt GPS/Sonar units are all over the network for around 250.00 to 300.00. They work great and have the large screen. They look exactly like the X28 only are not color. I have two on my boat and really like them. I buy and sell a lot of them and have never had a problem with any. I currently do not have any, but will be glad to locate one for you. AT NO CHARGE. I will just put you in touch with the seller. Stay off EBAY, there are no deals on them there.- Lowrance owners...compatability question????
Unless you network them you will need two antennas. You can use one card if you like. Just pass it back and forth. As long as the units are set up for the chip and location you can easily move it from one to the other. Easiest way is to network the sytstem and then you would only use one antenna for both units. It's fairly simple to do. Just cost some dollars. Long Mike and I have recently networked our boats and it was a fairly straightforward setup. There are great sites out there with step by step instructions on how to do it. Let me know if you need help. FYI, keep the antenna at least three feet from the head unit. There have been problems reported with loss of signal if it is closer than that. I have not personally seen the problems and one of mine was closer than the three foot rule. It's a suggestion from Lowrance. - I must be getting old.
