  1. It all starts with the school president and the athletic director. Therein lies the real problem. President hires the AD, AD hires the coach. It just goes on from there. Shame they could not start with firing some of the players.
  2. Plenty of them here. I was reading my game law book last week and it clearly states that you can gun them down at any time of year. Makes no sense why the state would allow the shooting of these great animals unless they were to pose a danger to people or were destroying livestock. Either way they should try to trap and relocate them. Catt, makes sense they would be there since it is only a river crossing away. I bet there are plenty more where that one came from.
  3. 2.82 this morning, and 2.69 this evening.
  4. The Javelin you asked about is way under powered. Stay away from it.
  5. You're not alone. All of ours suck too.
  6. It will be fun to watch. Hope it is a good game instead of a blowout.
  7. It is worth whatever it cost the taxpayers to keep that scum behind bars. Maybe we will never hear of him again.
  8. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case October 7. Go to http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors and read the story. I'm sure it will be tested in another case as soon as the water rises and the duck hunters hit the water. Probably be a mess but hopefully some good will come out of it. It now goes back to the court in Louisiana without an opinion so we will have to wait for someone else to be arrested on the water above someone else property. Very interesting.
  9. Wished I had thought of that.
  10. It's not this article that carrys all the info. The prior articles printed over the last several years are the ones that have the issues. Courts are considering allowing the private companies to actually fence off the water and use it for their private use. Way too much to discuss on this site. Research it and try to find the earlier articles. If you need help let me know and I will try to locate them. The cliff notes have been printed in Bass Times and they did a great job listing the issues. I completely agree that a high water issue does not give anyone access to anothers property. I just think it may lead to a lot of accessability issues that could have reaching effects on the water everyone is allowed to fish. One senario that was discussed was that noone would be allowed to exit the main water of a river via a creek due to the fact that they would in reality be tresspassing. Many are concerned that everyone may be restricted to just the river itself. I guess we will just have to wait and hope for the best, what ever that may be.
  11. I am a card carry member of another organization from Brooklyn: PET THIS!!!!!!!! ;D Now that's a membership everyone should be enrolled in. Good job.
  12. Sam this has been in the Louisiana courts for several years. Hopefully it will come to a conclusion soon. It is anyone's guess which way though. If they decide the land owners do have ownership out to the center of the creek as well as the water covering their land it will have far reaching effects on everyone's ability to fish certain waters.
  13. 3.03 here this morning. Sad when we think gass under 3.00 a gallon is cheap though. We are being programed.
  14. As usual our almighty court system will decide the issue. Grab your rear with both hands and bend over.
  15. Muddy, PETA has you on their watch list.
  16. Eddie, shortsided and lazy I'm not. I personally have produced 378 pages of water testing results and water surveys fighting polution dumped by a Canadian paper mill into Sam Rayburn lake. It took three years and many trips to Austin speaking out against corp. greed trying to protect the water we drink and enjoy on a daily basis. So until you have walked the walk you need to be careful who you call lazy. Yes I tournament fish, but that does not give you the right to judge someone unless you would like to walk in my shoes, fight the polution of our waters along side me and all the others that were instrumental in getting the mill shut down. You are more than welcome to join us in fighting for clean water. Like most though, you just don't have the time.
  17. Lots of talented people here and you are definately one of them
