  1. You should have been with me Saturday night. It was bad.
  2. Has not been out of the 80s all week here in Houston. Sure is nice for a change. Now if we can just dodge a major storm it will be great. Not likely though.
  3. I've just been sitting and looking at her for hours. I really need a life
  4. Beats me. I was 5800 rpm and everything began to shake. I shut off and restarted and everything seemed fine until I put it in gear. I trimed up and 2/3 of one blade was completely gone. I am sure I did not hit anything but maybe I damaged it on the last trip. That is the second time I have ever seen it happen. Had a friend in a Champion lose one on a 4 blade once back in the early 90s. Never thought I wouold see it again. This prop had just come out of the prop shop and had been extensively repitched. It's over there now so they can take a look at it and see if it was stressed when they repitched it. It was a 22P and was now a 24.
  5. Catt, I got your PM. Yes it is the same. I sent you two PMs. I am leaving in the morning. The viewing is tommorrow from 5-8 at Gibson Funeral Home on 58 in Lufkin and the funeral is Friday at 2:00. Catt, I was not aware that Kathy was shot more than once so that is news to me. I understood that she was shot once in the foot, but my info is incomplete. I will send you the specifics when I get a little more info on Friday. If she is part of your family I am sorry you had to hear of it this way. Glad she is going to be OK.
  6. I had a rough time on rayburn. Three hundred yards into my run from the ramp. I broke a blade off my Lazer 22P prop(No Spare) and was regulated to fishing the area around the ramp area on the TM. Partner failed to show so it was a long night for me. biggest was 5.50 and I only had four. Most caught on plastic and some on a black buzzbait. Lots of small fish. Not one of my better efforts. Most bites were on the grass lines out on the points with 12-15' drops.
  7. I am beside myself. My tournament partner's grandson was shot and killed Sunday night when he and his girlfriend were robbed in a parking lot leaving a resturant. She was shot in the foot and he was gunned down. He did manage to put one in the killer's gut. Naturally the crook will survive. Just don't know why things happen like they do.
  8. Cableman that is a nice boat. I'm afraid I would have had to put the goggles on and go for it. Congratulations
  9. Good luck to them if they make it to Houston and try to take Wayside Drive. They don't have enough fire power.
  10. Like Raul said. The only difference would be in a savings if any. I personally have tried them and can not tell a bit of difference, whether on plastics or crankbaits.
  11. Don't think just because your in a boat it is easy. They can be heck to pinpoint and get a bite for hours at times at night. You just have to keep on chunking at them and try to put yourself at any advantage you can.
  12. I'm here. Just been tied up with a few things.
  13. I saw a guy last year that dropped an oak on the river on Toledo Bend. He did it about 7:30 am and I was the third boat that idled over it and punched in the waypoints. What an idiot.
  14. I am fishing my 14th tournament so far this year tonight.
  15. Avid, you may be a lot of things. If I were to call you an old fart it would be like calling the kettle black.
  16. The last ticket I got was in 1994. 68 in a 55. The one before that was in 1972, 75 in a 65. Only two tickets in last 37 years. Just lucky I guess. I have a family full of police officers and they have never helped me out of anything. I never asked them either.
  17. Tiny's Fiberglas in Longview, Texas. If he has not got it he will certainly know where to find one. He has all kinds of old boat parts. Lots of factory pieces you cannot find anywhere else. Good luck
  18. Never heard of it. And from the looks of the poll neither have many others.
  19. It's either a scam or a typo. Take your pick.
  20. Christ, ya'll need to grow a pair. Ya'll sound as if you need to send PETA all your money. GET OVER IT!!!
