Wow! I haven't seen one of those snakes a very long time. They are pretty cool. The name of the maker eludes me at the moment.

They're all gonna laugh at you!!
Have I had similar situations? You bet. ;D Have been openly laughed at throwing anything from large spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and giant worms from people chucking large basketball size bobbers with night crawlers.Uusally using cane poles or some gigantic saltwater setup,a 5 gallon white bucket, and holding the spinning rod upside down. You know the type. The one that really throws them off is when I am using something like a super spook. They see me twitching that big ol thing and they are totally confused. I had one gentleman before tell me that my spro frog looked like a toy and didn't know why they sold those funny looking things. There is no way a fish could eat that. ;D I went back to Ohio in 2005 and was fishing one of my old spots,an old spillway that runs about 3 ft deep max using a 3/8 spinnerbait with oversize blades. I was actually approached by a smirking game warden who laughingly asked if I fishing for whales and "what could possibly be in there that would bite all that metal?" Of all people a game warden??!! (Guess he was so used to seeing 2-3 dozen people lined up on that bank with their buckets catching redears.) After harrassing me for my 50 dollar non-resident permit I told him to stick around for a minute.I then proceded to draw a small crowd after catching 10 fish or so 1.5 lbs and under on that "giant lure". : When I get the looks and chuckles I have still openly given fish to people before since I know there is no chance whatsoever that they will catch one.It is when the "why you throw that back?" or "let me get that" crap starts is when I promptly tell them where to stick it and learn how to catch it themselves. No point whatsoever trying to explain big fish and catch and release to them.I gave up on that :

Movies that disturb you
I was gonna mention that too. I seen it a billion times but every time I watch it there are things about it that take on new meaning. It is as deep as you want it to be.Some people get it and some don't. When they start playing "Goodbye blue sky" It creeps me out for some reason. It just sounds ominous.

Bassresource Ragetail Marketing Machine?
Really? I don't think he has a product out there that hasn't been produced before. His tail design on the anaconda is a little different but I think that Net Bait was around before and his baits are pretty similar. Rage Tails are good product don't get me wrong but I think they are a little over hyped. So baits like the craw and lizard and worm don't put off a completely different sound or vibration wave coming through the water then?? The annaconda feels the same to a bass as say a Culprit P.O.S.? Sorry had to debate Overhyped? Yes, I do agree to an extent but when something works and works well it is kind of hard to call it "hype".

Bassresource Ragetail Marketing Machine?
Do they always work or are they magic? Of course not. But they are different and thats the name of the game in bass fishing more often than not. There are no other baits on the market that duplicate them.Almost all other baits are a knockoff of something else to a degree and the Rage baits are pretty original. Dead shad are what I find irritating :

Lures you DON'T use?
Rattle traps.I got about a thousand of them. They just come in so many cool colors but really only need maybe half dozen in various sizes if that. But mostly the stuff I don't use is because I am not fishing the right kind of water or situations but its ready when I need it.

Good to hear, I am glad someone likes that POS color. It's a good looking bait but I've never had a strike on it.

anyone using the zoom trick worms?
Weightless is kinda tough to fish much deeper than about 5-6 feet max,of course things like flouro make it all the better. The size of the hook and or wire gauge can control sink rates as well. The bait really only needs a 1/0 or 2/0 hook of any style but you can go as high as a 4/0 or 5/0 to get different action. Fishing it this way can be killer right on top.Use around pads, submerged weeds, and brush,or pull it right off the bank. You can make the worm walk the dog.Fish with a good amount of slack and use a very sharp snappy upward twitch using your wrist only, not pulling the bait.Rod up. The fish normally just swirl up under it and suck it under. At that point drop the rod tip and reel the line tight and stick them.Of course speed and cadence play a top role here as always. Weightless can also be fish subsurface a few inches to a few feet deep.Use the same retrieve as described above except keeping the rod low and using a downward twitch. If using a bright color like white(one of my favs) let the worm sink til it is just about out of sight. Then there is the dead stick. The one we all love soooo much.Throw it to a good spot and let it hit bottom and don't even move it.How long to leave it and how much to move it depends on your patience and whether you have the confidence that there is even a fish around the area.Lift slightly and let it drop again, repeat. This can be killer when absolutley nothing else is working. There are times when the bass just come right out of the woodwork from virtually nowhere.Don't count on it as a search technique though.Better to use when the bite is off. Hope any of this helps.I love me some trickworms and could probably right a book on it if I was a better writer in the first place

Try it out and see how it works. I like those bright colors better for weightless twitching presentations though.Like a senko, there is NO wrong way to rig it or fish it. Texas rigged with a bullet is my least favorite technique but that is not saying it will not work.Water calrity can play an issue too. A good finesse technique is to use a 1/32 or 1/16 weight on the nose. Yes they are great on a shakey head but my favorite way to fish it is rear weighted and skipped under trees, into and around cattails, pitched into cover, and shaken within lily pads.

Glue it, but not with a permanant super glue. The pin punches through from the top to the bottom and you should be able to free it with a proper tool.. ^^ Wish I would have thought of that before I lost my pin. I was casting a fish head a couple times before I noticed it was gone and had to retrace my steps and found the body floating.Did I lose any balls? NO, I lost those a long time ago. : The full size TT seems pretty nice but I am done with the small one.It also looks like a crappie lure.Swims good but I would go with the Spro like others suggested. If you can only afford one for now then you need to assess what kind of water conditions and depths you will be targeting so you can decide on the float, slow,or fast sinker.Personally I would go with the floater though>if you are new to SB it gives you a good idea of what the bait is capable of and the blowups when the bait is deadsticked or twitched are awesome.

Need help finding an old ZOOM color
Get ya some whites and stick them in with some nice slimy junebugs. You will very soon have a light purple, although don't know if that will be dark enough to match but it does make a nice violet.

Is a 6" tube too big?
Well theres plenty of fish in the sea and some just prefer a big tube.

These baits are incredible. The high tech futuristic space age design look really drives fish crazy! You can throw presentation, speed, and depth out the window. These are issues of the past! Just throw the bait out in the water and let it sit and the fish will jump all over it like flies on poo. They cannot resist the scent. The pheremones will actually make them slurp the bait and then hump it like a dog in heat.It WILL out fish live bait 10-1! I have fished these baits side by side with my partners on many occasions and I caught 5 fish to every one of there 1 fish using these fantastic lures. I highly recommend that each and every one of you go take a loan out and buy every last pack of them that you can get a hold of as these will soon be banned from tournaments. The low low price of 6.99 for a 4 pack is such a small price to pay. You will be the *** of all your friends and tourney opponents. They will be amazed at your shear talent all the while not knowing your "little secret". ;D No I am not a paid sponsor I just figured I'd let all of you know one of my little secrets.I am holding nothing back.I want you all to enjoy my incredible succes with this "magic" bait. 8-)
