Small Easy-Casting Topwaters??
Easy to cast? Although not my favorite of small baits the Yo-Zuri banana boat jr. WILL cast 2 country miles with ease due to the magnetic weight transfer. http://www.yo-zuri.com/Products/ProdMinnow/BananaBoat.htm

Rage Tail Baits
x2 every one of the RT baits can be fished weightless or lightly weighted and used on the surface or subsurface. The plastic they are made of is also very durable with the exception of maybe losing appendages but that happens to any plastic bait from time to time. I have caught up to 10 fish on the craws and 5-6 on the annacondas.

cell phone got a warshin, lost cause?
Believe it or not my buddy put his in the oven a couple times at 150,said it worked great. He has an older nokia though.I don't know about that, just figured I'd throw it out there.LOL I dropped my razor in the toilet DOH!!!! Also got rained on twice and so far it started working again after a few days. Do you have insurance or an extra warranty plan for the phone? You can usually get it replaced for free or little cost depending on who your carrier is. Take the battery out and dry it for a few days.Maybe also try a blow dryer? :-?

Power Worms
The 10 inch big show is a real mother but I was mostly referring to the regular ribbon tail style.

Why am i losing fish on a strike king red eye shad rattle trap?
2 questions: Is the rod your using too stiff? A more flexible rod blank can allow the fish to load up better. Try changing colors??? Sometimes this can be the difference between swipes and chokes. Nonetheless these things tend to happen sometimes with cranks of any kind, especially lipless. It can totally depend on just how the fish are biting that day. I don't think their is anything wrong with the red eye. Those baits are killer, especially ripped out of grass.

Suicide Deer Trip
ROFLMFAO! Great story! There is no way you could have made that up. The 1 lb fish on the slammer is pretty impressive too. I get a kick out those little bad a$$es.

thats a lot of bass
I bought a cheap drugstore digital camera ($9.99) for just this purpose and keep it on the boat in the glove box. Last week I was on the boat by myself and caught a monster bass (must of been 20 pounds : ). I held it up best I could, even with my super-human strength, extended the camera out with my other arm and snapped the picture. I rushed home and downloaded the pics to my laptop only to find a picture of myself with my arm out to the side, cut off at the elbow right where the fish should have shown up. When I get home from work, I'll upload the picture, and you can use your imagination where the fish should have been. EDIT - Sorry for the bad cut/paste on the quote :-[ Also -photo of mentioned monster fish Too Cool! 8-) We will take your word for it

How to Fish Dark Water
agree with gatorboy too. Some of my choices for the nasty water around here are: -10 inch black worms, junebug. -5-6 inch black/blue senkos or any dark variation of. -black/blue or chart/white chatterbaits with gold blades. -3/8 to 1/2 oz spinnerbait tandem style with #5 colorado and #5 1/2 -to #7 willow blades with chart-white or white and black(shad) skirts. This is a shallow water slow rolling hawg catching combo. -loud topwater such as a super spook jr,wounded spook, black torpedo, chug bug, spro poppin frog in black. -3/8 black on black cavitron buzzbait -Gambler flappin tail worms 8 inches. These are killer in dirty water. -Rage tail craws in dark colors with rattles for flippin and pitching. -rattle traps 1/2 oz in black, baby bass, gold, silver blue back/orange belly These are some of my favorites. As a GENERAL rule use darker colors and baits that put off vibration and or noise. Make sure you fish very tight to or directly into cover.

Mend-It Experiments
3x plastic ;D Thats IS scary. Better off have a hazmat team on standby
-
Mend-It Experiments
When you are sticking two loose parts together are you only putting the mend it only one surface? It works better that way.Put on one side and hold for at least 10 secs. Some plastics it works better on than others. As far as senkos go,no,it doesn't work quite as good for two reasons 1)all the salt 2) these baits get soggier the longer they are fished. If you want to save money on senkos I found it is better to take the bait off after a fish or snag and just use a new one and put the other to the side and just fix a bunch at once.Easier to fix the yamamoto baits before they get to badly damaged. Also when fixing senkos put a little more on the outside after the first fixing dries a little. This will take some of the "sog" out of that area and completely reform the plastic. There are certain baits or colors I can't get unless I order them, and seeing as how I am always broke the mend it has saved my arse on a whole lot of different baits that are absolute musts to have and not run out of. Like I said it takes a little practice to use.It is not magic, but you will get better at using it.I thought it was a little wierd and hard to use at first.... Good luck I positively love the stuff.

Bullet weights with Senkos
But does that automatically make it "the best way" under all circumstances?
-
Bullet weights with Senkos
There is no wrong way to rig it or fish it.I would normally prefer to rear weight it with nails though. A bullet is a good option for pitching around brush. I would normally fish un pegged and use a lift and drop. The bait falls erraticaly as it chases the weight back down. Most importantly,as always, rig it straight. Also x2 on what natural said:A light weight pegged and use a twitching/popping retrieve can be a deadly finesse technique as well. Also don't be afraid to try a small bullet pegged 2 ft up the line drag and hop.

What do you all think of this lure?
It is a great bait and I like to use mine for dirty water since it is kind of loud. Also the only one I own is black. The bigger ones are also popular around here for saltwater.
