What do you do that nobody else does?
When I catch a fish I rub my worm over it ;)
-
What seems to never work for you...
Buzzbait, yet I catch fish with a whopper plopper.

I Threw the Whole Tackle Box at Them, but They Still Didn't Bite...
I'll dropshot a worm, ned rig (TRD, Finesse worm or Tubez), or toss a shakey head worm. They probably weren't hungry or were highly pressured. Make a few casts, if nothing bites take off and come back later. Hopefully they become active. You could also try to anger the fish into biting by making repeated casts to tick them off. But I usually leave and try to find more active fish.

fishing alone or with a partner?
Nothing gives me more joy than fishing with my son and daughter. Fishing alone allows me to concentrate more on technique. But fishing with my kids is way more fun. Fishing with them leaves me with a great sense of pride, and memories that I will always cherish. Much in the same way as it was fishing with my father. I love fishing alone, but I would rather fish with my friends or family.

Rod overboard
Ouch. Did you catch a fish on it? At least that would take some of the sting out of losing it.

Sufix Siege 10 pound - baitcasting?
I use Siege 10lb as an all around line. I use it with a TD-Z and a TD-Sol on a Megabass Flatside Special. I use it mostly for topwater, cranks, spinnerbaits and senkos (weightless). I have never had any problem with it, great line. If your fishing heavy cover or around rocks I would probably go heavier. But fishing open or along weedlines 10lb should not be a problem.
