  2. Go to lunkerville.com and watch the episode called jighead. It is the best breakdown of jigs I have ever seen. -gk
  3. My favorite jig would be a black/blue booyah bed bug with varying trailers. by the way, I have not heard of creation baits but they do look pretty good. -gk
  4. I use diamond grinding wheels at work, so I feel I have about $.02 to add here. first, they would actually be pretty heavy, much more than a ceramic or SiC guide. As far a the priceing goes, you would probably be looking at about $500-$600 for a full set. Even man made diamonds are'nt cheap. -gk
  5. The best beginners line, is BPS excel mono. Spray with some KVD line and Lure and good to go. Hard to beat 3240 yards of 14 lb test for $24.99. -gk
  6. X2 hard to beat the gas cans. -gk
  7. I use mono for everything but jigs. -gk
  8. Come on, you don't want a pixy you could catch a marlin on? -gk
  9. I would like to know what your guys opinions are. Split grips would be nice but not neccesary, foam would also be nice but cork is ok too. I would preferably be in the 100-120 price range. -gk
  10. Hawaii. I would probably give up bass fishing to have my own little secluded beach hut in Hawaii. -gk
  11. Get the lefty citica, it is considerably easier to go from spinning only to casting. Overall, it looks like a good solid workhorse set up. -gk
  12. I would be happy to be able to fish 58 days in a row, much less catch a limit. -gk
  13. This is almost as bad as the synchronized goldwing riders. -gk

Don't do what I did, Don't take the first job offer you get during college. You may see dollar signs and benefits, but after you have a degree they will be better. Also, make sure your major is something that you can see yourself doing for the next twenty years. It is easier to swith majors when in school than to switch career paths while working. Also, let me remind you. FINISH YOUR DEGREE. -gk
  15. Pop-r's are the trick worm of top waters. If they are willing to hit topwater, they will hit a pop-r. Here is a retreive that I found quite good. Cast out and let the rings dissapear, then just twitch just enough to get smaller rings and maybe a little "bloop". but the real key is to not jerk it hard at all. -gk
  16. X3 -gk
  17. I would highly recommend getting the PQ too, It would be the same price if you catch them on sale. It has both centrifugal and magnetic brakes, so you can use one or the other. I have it set with both on and hardly ever get a backlash. -gk
  18. Spinnerbaits, jigs, plastics, topwater toad/frogs, buzz baits. I would recommend them anytime you need to pick up a lot of line in a hurry. The only thing I would not recommend them for would be lipped diving crankbaits. -gk
  19. Whats hot at hartwell about now? Heading up there next week and was just wondering what was hot and what is not. -gk
  20. Dirty beat up cranks look cooler anyway. PS- Semper Fi. -gk
  21. The only stupid question is the only one you don't ask. But to answer your question, it means they are tied to the shank of the hook more like a fly. It is done to give the skirt more flair on the pause. -gk
  22. I never really was into wrestling, but "Macho Man" was always cool. The sunglasses that said macho man on them were always the best part. -gk
  23. I just could not get into that show, mainly because I think the guy was just so arrogant. -gk
  24. Spro McCstick in the sexy shad color -gk
