It will make a good fishermen a better angler this has been talked about a lot it's like a car some guy driving a f430 will get smashed on the track to an experienced driver driving an subaru sti or Mitsubishi evolution now give that driver the f430 and no doubt he will be faster on the track.

Are you for real are you just talking out of your butt? Steez is lighter than ANY st croix of comparable action/ power much more detail beautifully crafted sensitive rods and 310 is a steal.

A 6 and a half foot rod would been better and for alittle more money i think you could of got the clarus or convergence which are better rods

Daiwa advantage blows the stradic out of the water, i have both it's cheaper too. Much smoother greater casting a nice thick bail and every daiwa and shimano I have has held up under abuse. Seriously check out the daiwa multiple people having problems with new stradics never heard one complaint about the advantage ( although daiwa sold much less ) still try out the advantage, you'll fall in love with the 2000 or 2500. The finish on the reel is soooooo nice and the red accents it also has real four gearing found on daiwas 300$ + spinners. IIRC 8 bearing s check it out. Stradics nice too
