  6. It was cloudy in my parts today so I got to do a little Daytime fishing. Took my wife Connie and my pooch,Tito. Caught'em on Tx rigged Rage Lizards and Craws tipped w/JJ's Magic....Connie didn't want her picture taken, I think because there was no beauty shop on the boat, but Tito didn't mind.. ;D..He goes everywhere with me and stays on point while fishing, "A Fish Pointer"....He likes it alot, kinda like somebody else I know... 15. Durability in high action soft plastics is like walking a tight rope. For a bait to be superior in providing an attractive action with the slightest movement of the Rod tip or on the fall with the lightest weights or jigs, many things are taken into consideration. After this action is achieved, then the durability factor is applied to attain maximum durability without sacrificing the action quality. Once this is achieved, then I take into consideration of how to guarantee the finest action and durability with every individual bait. Thru the clamshell packaging and individual hand placement of each bait, this is attained. These were my objectives during the design phase of Rage Craws and Chunks and I believe that no other product on the market matches or is superior to them in any of the above mentioned areas....of course I might be just a little bit Biased....Naaaah ;D Big O www.ragetail.com
  16. George, I haven't tried those as of yet but I will this spring and summer for sure..I have been using the 5 and 6/0 EWG Gammy superline hooks....have had excellent hookup ratios with them. I think the key with these hooks is to pause just a split second after the strike and let the fish load up just a touch before setting the hook. Bigger hooks work well also but I feel that the toads or frogs aren't lost or torn up as bad with 5 and 6/0's. Big O www.ragetail.com
  17. The Rage Craw has also been a huge producer for all of our Pros since it came out....so I think it should get a big O Yahoo from me Big O www.ragetail.com
  18. You got wet and thats what counts...just means there are some great days comin soon. Big O www.ragetail.com
  19. I've been thinking that I want to try those Rage Tail Trailers too....reckon they would do all right on the back of my big O jig? Nahhhhh....they're probably too big and have too much action....might scare the fish too much and slapp'em in the face and miss treat'em and such. Peta would for sure get on my case for that.....abusin those fish, puttin' those hook marks all up in their head'n'mouth'n'such. I sure am glad I've talked myself out of that deal, could be dangerous, and heck, I don't wanna have a big O fish come up'n eat my jig'n'trailer just like that. Might tear off my trailer or even break my line and make me lose my jig and a guys gotta have somethin' to fish with next time he goes fishin, know what I mean.... Big O www.ragetail.com
  20. Theres so many in stock, out of stock, first in, first out issues with the variety of on the shelf retailers, might try *** because strickly internet sales outlets probably turnover their stock more often and have more effecient inventories since they require no display product. 21. Hawgchaser, I noticed your thread and did some research for you....Since I don't throw crankbaits anymore, had to call the SK Manufacturing group for some accurate information. The painting process on these crank baits is called vacuum metalizing....From what I understand, many of your comments about the paint scratching off is definitely the older production models. They changed their Paint Contractor quite awhile back and the paint quality is very much improved. The 3/4 that Bassnajar was referring to, has only been produced by this new contractor so it should demonstrate or be representative of all of the other sizes produced by them as well. Hope that helps to answer your questions, Big O www.ragetail.com
  22. All right Boys and girls and all us old Fogies... ;D Our website ought to come up just fine now, even on my old limping Computer. Sorry it took so long but I had to get a cup of coffee... Big O www.ragetail.com
  23. Glad you got there safe Baron, now go out there and slam a few bigguns..... Big O www.ragetail.com
  24. maybe we can fix that
  25. When I really have a problem with my baits gettin' tore up is when I am fighting or pressuring the fish too hard when reeling them to the boat, they come up on top and thrash and slash around. Tears up baits but it sure is a pretty sight. Big O
