Rotting veggies create heat for the same reason compost piles create steam. Do you think that cooling water would draw bass into shallows for warmer water even though the oxygen is depleted? What if its windy or rainy to stir up the oxygen?

Sorry J Francho thats incorrect, its not the bacteria The carbon building blocks break down into Carbon Dioxide (CO2) thats where the oxygen goes there may be bacteria that eat plants but they don't use enough oxygen to matter

Yes dying weeds consume oxygen= no bass go shallow for warmer water or flowing water or go deeper for schooling bass with cranks as a search bait do some research here on fall patterns and lure choice good luck

I've always used Berkley floro on all my rods. I'm semi happy with it. From 8lb on dropshot to 12lb on jerkbait and crank rod to 20lb on my flippin stick. Very few heartbreaks--most from Pickeral. my biggest concern is line twist and memory. I've always been afraid to swich plus Berkley is not as tough on the pocket as some other brands
