  1. Sounds more like you found a great location for cats than bass.
  2. Here's a breakdown of Lucky Craft slash baits, by my friend Burnie. http://www.burniehaney.com/files/Cold_Water_Jerkbaits_LOO_Spring_09_.pdf
  3. 15 seems pretty small for 10 bass. As far as no divider goes, two sets of marked cull tags should clear up keeping each anglers' bags separate.
  4. I use a couple of the FTO wallets.
  5. Trailer tongue is a $35 part. The first boat is wildly over priced. In working condition, they go for $800 - 1200. The second boat might be a decent deal, but something that old scares me. Have a good boat mechanic do a full inspection.
  6. Last two nailed, put a lighter to the hook or screw lock, and it''ll cut through like butter.
  7. Too soon to tell. I've had them apart, they're well made. Haven't seen any "well used" copies, though.
  8. Bonus brown while chasing brown fish.....
  9. I believe that was a big improvement over the Ride 135, so it shouldn't be an issue.
  10. Yup. Also, I don't recall either being any better in the slop. Maybe it's just the Eurasion Milfoil up here. I seem to get a big ball of in wrapped on my prop no matter the brand.
  11. Should be fairly dry, though it is a sit on top, and you invariably get wet. I wear dry suit in colder temps.
  12. I own the PBG, but I prefer the Ride 115. Ideal all around boat.
  13. Nice to get an attaboy - even if my own contributions are very small, relatively speaking. Thanks Mike.
  14. I've had both, take your pick. My favorite pedal was on an old OMC unit.
  15. Niceee. They've held up real well, especially considering they're either getting used or on the deck of my boat whenever I'm out.
  16. In NY, all they can sell is tungsten. Short of pouring your own weights, that or tin is about your only choice. I don't have any issues with them, and yes they transmit more than lead. I just don't think that extra feel is useful in any way. The smaller profile is useful. So is the bigger profile of tin. If I'm using a big bait, but want a light sinker, then I use tin, since it matches up size wise better.
  17. Nice Work! Scott Hovenec made these for me:
  18. What brand jigs are you using that made of tungsten and 1 to 1.5 oz.?
  19. Yep, and yep. Caught this in almost 40' of water:
  20. That's how I get my JDM gear.
  21. You're in California. A swimbait should work.
  22. This is after the fish was done making three runs.
