  1. Chris we need to get you a new hat. Nice fish buddy. The great aspect in saltwater fishing is the mind blowing diversity of the fishery. You just never what you might catch.
  2. Looking good Hootie.
  3. You are a bass stud.
  4. I have had two trail master trailers both oem suppliers to Lund & Starcraft. They make a good trailer.
  5. Nice color on that one. Looks real healthy. That is a good eating size.
  6. My suggestion is a St Croix VIS70MM. It's an Avid Series Inshore spinning rod 7' medium power moderate action. A moderate action rod gives you a more parabolic bend to keep treble hooked baits from tearing out. It retails for $230 and is included in their saltwater section.
  7. I got you covered.
  8. Robert is a classy guy. And it doesn't hurt he is a FSU fan.
  9. That is a much better picture than the stupid garage pic. When some one catches the fish of a lifetime remember the background in the picture . Take the pictures on the water!
  10. I picked up on Tom's suggestion of the Armilo Deifer line have used it for about a year and I am very happy with it.
  11. Tatsu is expensive but if you have tried other fluoro and got burnt it will restore your faith in using fluoro.
  12. Seaguar tatsu is my choice.
  13. Where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean......... Hang On!!!!!!!!!!! This video is of commercial fishing boats returning from fishing off the coast of Washington and Oregon. They are crossing the Columbia Bar, which is the site the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. This is designated as one of the most dangerous ports of entry anywhere in the world. There are at least eight to 10 deaths per year with people trying to get in or out in boats that are not made for this kind of severe beating - the kind you will see these boats going through. These boats are self-righting, have a super low center of gravity, sealed engine compartments, basically bullet proof glass windows, double steel hulls. Well, you get the idea. They are commercial shrimp and fishing boats. The Coast Guard has closed it to any other boats due to waves of 35 to 45 feet. It is quite a sight to see. Watch the You-tube video and determine if you would like to have been a crew member on either of these two vessels. Columbia River bar - let's go fishing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByGSMmenPDM
  14. The Kistler Z-bones & Helium 3 are built on North Fork Composite blanks.
  15. Welcome Patrick. You must be located across the lake from NE Marina.
  16. Like the fish & the hat.
  17. Call & talk to Gary or Brian over at the tackle trap. They can answer your question.
  18. Quality time with your dad under tough circumstances will make for great memories for you both.
  19. . I guess I qualify as old school.
  20. Take a floating Rapala and pinch the line tie closer together than original then bend the line tie down towards the belly of the bait. This will increase the side to side wobble of the bait and make it run a little deeper.Try it in small increments & watch the action change boat side.
  21. What's really cool is catching a new state record while fishing in a tournament.
  22. . Sure looks like 23" to me.
