  1. Also the Peach State teams did not do well either.
  2. Ohio State looked weak but Alabama really looked bad.
  3. Good job. That second picture just helps prove that bass can feed with with their lateral line when their eyes can not contribute.
  4. Yes you can a take a Rubbermaid tub that is at least 12" tall & drill holes around the rolled top perimeter where the top seals over the edge. Then you can hang the baits with a hook from the holes. Keeps the baits from tangling and lets them dry without rusting the hooks.
  5. My take on it is to not use fluoro and save your self the hassle. If you really want to use fluoro knowing the difficulty try some Seaguar Tatsu. Its expensive but the best & least troublesome fluorcarbon you can buy. It is the only one I will use. My experience with it has been with 12lb & 20lb for jerkbaits & deep cranking in Mexico hence the 20lb.
  6. Nice job. Almost looks psychedelic.
  7. Looks like you got it done in time for some big fall girls. It looks too good not to be a little excited.
  8. Awesome, she must have been hungry.
  9. Save your money unless you really like the looks of them. I tried a jerkbait and have not caught a fish on it.
  10. Dang I had not thought of that. Hmmmmmmm
  11. Great outing. It's always a learning process.
  12. Nice link spying that out.
  13. Great story & pics Slone.
  14. All they have to do is look at Lake Erie. Both species are trophy class with nonnegative interaction. Successful spawns are influences by the lack of strong storms. Usually a bad year or two are almost always followed by great spawning classes.
  15. Sweet looking grip for a may or may not be a member. He better be careful of those warning points.
  16. Here is a link that will open your eyes really wide. Mike Borger does numerous flyouts every year then writes some of the best descriptive reports I have ever seen. Don't hesitate to get in touch with him or any of the outfitters he recommends. He did a report on Lakers Unlimited up on lake Athabasca which I read with great enjoyment as I have been there more than a dozen times. I spoke with him about it. His reports contain video, pictures & video of the cabins/facilities as well. Make sure you report on here & share your trip experiences if you go. http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=487785
  17. You have got nothing to be ashamed of Bill just be proud of your contributions.
  18. I have been lucky enough to introduce 9 guys into the 6lb smallmouth pb club. Some of them never caught a 5lber previous to their 6lb plus pb. Every single one had a big smile on their face after catching that special fish. As a by catch while fishing for smallies many other species pb were achieved. That's the advantage of fishing a great fishery. It is always fun to be part of some ones pb catches.
  19. I had an original from way back when. I look & see if I can find it. As I remember the tail was not pinned. The connecting V between the two parts looks correct. That bait might have been pinned after the tail was replaced.
  20. It looks like one to me repainted.
