  1. My apology to the op. I had just seen this & was going to post it when I came across this thread. I couldn't resist.
  2. I just replaced my original Sears platinum batteries after 6 years of service. I spent the extra money and did the same batteries again. They have been very reliable & are maintenance free. I use the electric trolling motor all day when fishing & recharge overnight with an onboard charger. My original batteries never failed me but did run out of power after a half day of fishing so I just decided to replace them anyway. I didn't have any problem with justifing the cost. They are heavy at 75lbs for each group size 31. I also use the same battery now for my starting battery. Power Ratings Cold Cranking Amps (CCA at 0 deg.F): 1150 Reserve Capacity (RC): 205 min. 3. Don't try starting it like this. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=541806692496290
  4. I caught a 17lb channel cat the other day on a jerkbait while fishing for smallies and I thought that was big. But your flathead makes that look small. The head shot really demostrates the size of that fish.
  5. All I had to read was the the opening line NE winds 10-15 & NE 7-14 and I knew the results. That makes for really tough fishing. Hope mother nature gives you a break in the near future.
  6. Try UHaul they have a special locking ball which will not come loose.

  8. Tell that to your first employer. By the way do you by chance have a picture of your PB? 10-11lbs is pretty big.
  9. Nice bass for your first visit to a new pond. WTG.
  10. Very nice smallies. Congrats on a great trip.
  11. When you find the answer to that question please share it with me. I would love to apply that to some lake erie smallies July thru September.
  12. Awesome trip. Six hours for those 12 fish would work for me.
  13. Outstanding trip there bud. That's what prespawn is all about, big heavy slobs. WTG shimmy.
  14. No the existing stradic C14 is discontinued.
  15. The newer stradic C14 has already been discontinued by Shimano. That might make a difference in what you choose to do.
  16. Nothing wrong with it for bass fishing. But like 21farms suggested any shimano reel named with a letter T is a trolling reel not a casting reel. If you want a casting reel pick from one of the C named reels.
  17. Sounds like you got a plan. WTG.
  18. Sweet. Don't forget that Hawgtech handle.
  19. Jeff let her wear all the shirts she wants. Draw the line at your pants.
  20. Good luck with the surgery. Heal quick & get back on the water.
  21. Sounds like your burning your self out. If it is temporary you might be able to deal with it but if it's ongoing you might want to reconsider. You can only burn the candle at both ends until the wax is all gone.
  22. Great pictures Mike. Sounds like you had a really god trip.
  23. Jump on it. The TE are excellent reels.
