  5. The Bait-Monkey is at his best when he get's others to buy our baits for us. A salesman called me today and said I had better get down to his shop, where he handed me a Tru-Tungsten (perch) swimbait. Like 60bucks, cool. Does anyone have experience with these? If so any pointers? The lake i regularly fish has lots of perch in it. I was thinking maybe a night time bait? Thanks.
  6. X2. I once caught a good 5lber. out of a local stocked catfish, winter trout pond. his whole right eye looked as if someone had snagged him and he tore his eye off getting loose. Anyway, it looked like it had been healed a long time before he got as big as he is. If some kid or meat/fisherman didn't catch him, I bet he's still there.
  7. I saw myself in this post and am making a conscious effort to do better. "I should be fishing."
  8. We use it in the gear ends of our big triplex pumps. On one rig it has been in them for over a year and a half with no breakdown of oil. We send samples in for evaluation after so many hours. These pumps run 24 hrs a day. So i believe it's pretty good stuff.
  9. Sorry don't mean to offend, but................................really!
  10. Don't you know that stuff is fake. ;D But, I see you probably just went for the cat fights. :
  11. Longhair won't cover up his redneck. Btw I sure wish she would give them back.
  12. I admit barefoot skiing is hard, but once you do it there isn't anything else like it. I trained on my buddy,s boat with a ski pole. You almost drown when getting up behind the boat as you have to wait till boats up to speed. Can't remember but seems like 42mph was optimum.
  13. Forget the skis just go barefoot.
  14. Thinks he's still got a pair.

Yeah, the bait monkey struck again. went to local ALCO store (mini walmart) to buy some dogfood the other day and walked down the sparsly stocked fishing ailse noticed the Storm Kicking Minnow and had to buy two (darn bait monkey, I swore wasn't going to buy anymore lures this year) one in the ghost other in perch color. anyway anyone else use these? if so any luck? don't look like they would be good in cover as they have only a single treble.

  22. at our local pond the other day saw a guy "bank trolling" i believe he was using a soft crawdad imitation any way he would cast the lure in the water then walk along the bank dragging the lure along after him. don't know if he ever caught anything as i soon left.
