Happy Birthday - When I turned 21 dad took me to the bar with his buddies . Man can them older more expeirecned drinks make a young guy hurt . Told me I had to go drink for drink with them . The one thing I really remember is that I don't like "3 WISE MEN" that has to be the worst drink in the world . Enjoy the hangover , they get worse with age

Has anyone else been out ice fishing yet ? My cousin and I went out on Sunday and caught 57 bluegill and crappie . Plan on going out again this weekend , weather permitting . It sure was nice to get out even if the water is solid . Tom

IF you want a fun time fishing for asian carp , load the boat up and head to Bath , IL . There is a hillbilly fishing tournament for them once a month I believe . Just jump in the boat , idle slowly and let 'em jump in . The boat with the most pounds at the end of the day wins . I also was talking to the local warden and was told that if one jumps in your boat it is supposed to be killed IMMEDIATLEY . So any time one jumps in the boat he gets the heave ho to the bank .

Well I've been duck hunting , goose hunting , coyote hunting , dog training , cleaned all my reels , put them on my new rod rack that a buddy made for me . Oh yeah also been ICE fishing - caught 57 bluegill and crappie today . Good eats are a coming . and that pretty much sums it up

( I kinda stepped on the ol' ladies rod and broke it) As far as the bait monkey , she just shakes her head and tells me I need to start using live bait .

First off let me say congrats on your first bird . Now let me say this , put down the gun , and stick with fishing PERIOD This sport will cost you more than fishing will (ask my ol' lady) , By the time you buy decoys , guns , shells , camoflage, duck calls, a new duck boat (sorry can't have a fishing boat and duck boat combo), a good dog , dog food , vet bill's for said dog , training for said dog (because no one wants to hunt over an untrained retriever) , etc..... Come to think about it I need to get a 2nd job just to pay for my duck hunting habits As far as what wood taste like , well they taste like wood ducks . About number 4 on the list for good tasting ducks .

I haven't heard about people eating a lot of chocolate or sweets when the quit smoking , but I can tell you I know several guys that run to them after they quit drinking . Leo - Not sure if you will get this in time for your trip , but my buddy said he was catching all his fish on 4" tubes . Along the weedlines

So basically these paper tournaments are on the honor system ????? By that , I mean if 2 buddies draw out together they could possibly "fudge" the length(s) of the fish so they could win . Doesn't seem like a good idea too me , but then again I've only fished in 2 tournaments my entire life .

Leo - Talked to a buddy of mine last weekend . Said the bite was slow , but they did catch some fish . Will try to get a hold of him and see where he was at on Sangchris for ya .

Since I'm one of the lucky ones , that happen to work 2nd shift , I'm out at least 3 maybe 4 days a week . Put the boy on the school bus and I'm off to the water , that is unless there is something that ABSOLUTELY needs done at home .

I know that feeling all too well . My er visit was $572.00 just to get the d**n hook yanked outta my thumb .
