At sixteen and never being in a club before I'd say look for a nice adult club. I've been in you situation before and I actually started a Jr. Club and it really wasnt worth it for me to be in the jr. club for two years. I won every tournament we fished and I didnt learn anything. The adults in the adult club will offer you so much more to learn from them. btw- I've been fishing in the adult club since i was 15, only a year younger than you, and last year i won angler of the year and became the youngest person from PA to every qualify for a midatlantic divisional team. Us kids can achieve greatness too, just make sure you keep your mind open to new things.

Nope, any person of any age can join BASS. You have to be 8 to join a Jr. Club though

raystwn is a great lake makesure you hit up the weeds with frogs and white spinnerbaits. smallies are a little harder to find but they'll hit jerkbaits on ledges, look for jumping baitfish for the schools of fish

Yup I fish around pittsburgh, the rivers are my favorite and i also fish loyalhanna, crooked creek, yough dam, and raystown alot.

i wade lakes too! thats not bad, you cant get everywhere you want unless you want to swim but you still get to more places than people stuck on the bank. Creek wading in the summer is the best though, i wade the loyalhanna creek around here and there are just so many smallies anywhere from 8 inches to 5 lbs!!!! yes i have caught one that wieghed 5 lbs, but i did the calculation since i didnt have a scale (length x girth^2)/800

they do in the northeast lol. here a 12 inch fish is a "pig" if its fat lol

they are, lol thats why they look so much alike. i read something somewhere that goldfish are actually just a domesticated carp. its like the dog breed thing since they lived in china the chinese kinda breed them to look nice, but they're a carp at heart. And goldfish are in a pond in the middle of the woods because someone put them there lol : ;D (if i knew how to do the laughing one it would be here too lol)

if your in a float tube use a texas rigged tube. they dont get snagged as easy and you wont have to worry about hooking yourself as much

i do lol. i know some of the lakes around here its really hard to catch a limit, that and i know most of the guys i'm fishing against. even some of the best local around dont catch limits everyday

just shop for a used boat. there are alot of reasonable deals out there from guys that want to ge a new boat and all they need is a few grand to pay off the rest of it

was it largemouth or a smallmouth?

i have a goldfish pond in my back yard and all of look exactly like that, except there are a few bluegill, chubs, and small bass and the goldfish are alot smaller. Thats a big feeder fish you can buy for 10 cents a piece when they're small lol.
