As the fish may be deep and negative you will want to work it slow. The RT Shad can use used but I would downsize some. Try a RT Baby Craw if the are negative. Check the barometer if it is snowing a frontal condition can make the barometer rise. I had some good days in foul weather so who knows. Good luck. You need to try the Barbee Chain which is just south of Webster. Very good Bass fishing especially on Little Barbee and Irish Lake. Each lake has it's unique characteristics so you can always find something biting.

I have tried it, nothing special other then line watching. The Gold stands out in any light or water condition. I did notice that the abrasion resistance was below par. If fishing soft plastics where line visibility is important and re-tying is not an issue then not a bad line for the price. I fished in 38 degree air temps and 58 degree water temps and the line stayed fairly pliable.
