  1. I am into just about anything really. There are so many great artists out there its actually really hard to limit myself to just one genre or sound. I do go through phases though. Right now I am really into 70's rock. I cannot get enough of the Eagles, Peter Frampton, etc... I have also rediscovered a new appreciation for Jeff Healey. The man was an absolute amazing musician and he will be missed.
  2. Those are nice largemouth. I caught a few too. You can bet there are in those jetties. I know when I first got to Lake Erie, I was content in catching those drum the entire first couple of days. But as time wore on they got pretty annoying to catch. It got to where you could tell it was a drum just from the way they pecked at your line. Nice pictures though.
  3. Largemouth: 4lb. 3oz. Rod 6'6" Medium Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier. Reel Browning Citori Smallmouth: 4lb. 14oz. Rod 6' Medium St. Croix Premier Reel Plueger President 6735 Spinning
  4. How did you manage to do that?
  5. It took me a long time to get used to my SXs. They do not have the braking power as other reels. I used to think that was a bad thing but I stuck with it and now I can cast them effortlessly. Initially, I though I was going to be dissatisfied but I really like them now.
  6. At 130 I would call them a great buy. I have used one on quite a few occasions and its pretty nice. Noisy at first but it gets better from there. At the old price of 240 bucks I would have been disappointed. They are probably not worth that.
  7. Nothing like that here in eastern Kentucky either. I would love to fish some pads at least once.
  8. Hey man, good luck. I don't doubt you know what you are doing in the least. I cannot even imagine a 25 mile run. The farthest I have ever ran was like 7 miles or something.
  9. Nice. I bet that does feel quite rewarding. Mad props on Low Budget Swimbaiting.
  10. That was my initial thought too. Figured they just added a nicer handle with some bearings there.
  11. I have always closed the bail manually. It just always seemed like it would be better for your reel anyway. It's a nice habit.
  12. I messed up the tip on an Extreme once. I took it to Bass Pro without the receipt and the customer service person told me to go get another. They put a piece of tape on the handle of the new one and I was good to go...awesome customer service.
  13. Some of these stories are rough. I have been checked quite a bit by quite a few different fellows. I have never really had a problem with any of them. They all seemed like pretty nice guys.
  14. Whoa...that thing is massive. It looked pretty alive to me though. I am not afraid of snakes in the least but this would probably freak me out if I happened upon it.
  15. Here in eastern Kentucky I saw $3.88. That was as of yesterday evening.
  16. Is this the spinning rod model? If so, it seems that it was designed as an all purpose rod. It should be alright to throw spinnerbaits on but it may be little too stiff to throw crankbaits with. Take a look at this: http://www.quantumfishing.com/fwrods/teptspinningrods.html
  17. just cracked me up with previous comment
  18. lol....yea...I can see this going bad for some people.
  19. Awesome job. It turned out awesome!!!
  20. Nice fish and cool video. I cannot wait to get back up there...Its such a unique fishery.
  21. The Revo SXs are really nice reels and they are comfortably within your price range. Good recommendations.
  22. That one is a really awesome watch. I am way too hard on watches. I am clumsy and they end up getting battered so I try to keep it pretty cheap. I love the way they look though.
  23. Man thats a nice fish!!! I have hooked a couple while bass fishing and they end up cutting my line with their teeth. One of these days...
  24. ^ Catches tiny brown fish using Quantums and braid. Crap muddy beat me. Muddy's probably the youngest member here.
