  1. and ended up with a new St Croix Legend Elite LXC78MHM. I've been looking for quite a while for a rod that will handle crankbaits that is longer then 7"0" for fishing clear waters. The main thing I was looking for is a longer handle then my CBR. I'm going to break it in this Saturday and can not wait and I still need to buy a pistol.
  2. Awesome!! Thank you.
  3. I bought the green and really like the line.
  4. I need a new crankin stick. Future plans. I'm going to do my best to fish Lake St Clair in the spring and fall next year.
  5. Awesome pictures.
  6. Thank you WhiteMike. Its always great to see and hear success stories and satisfaction of my work.
  7. Awesome!! Congrats on the first one.
  8. There is a small barb on it. I'll be adding the head only to the website today.
  9. IMO the IMX is the rod that created the high end rod market and is what all rods are compared to. The mossy back is a great rod also. I've fished several of them and like all of them. Right now I'm fishing mostly GLX's or Croix Extreme Elites. I do still have some IMX rods
  10. A local creek here when I was about 14 or so wading.
  11. Just released these this morning. http://]http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/tungsten-jigs-2 The Tungsten Arky Flipping Jig feature a 95% tungsten composition for a much more compact profile than lead. The Tungsten Arky Flipping Jig incorperates a streamline shape that allows the head to slide through grass and cover with less resistance and snagging. Tungsten is also much harder than lead, they also better transmit differences in bottom composition and structure, this allows better feel and detection of bites. The skirt is a 55 strand silicone skirt that is wire tied for long lasting skirts. The head is durable powder coated, each 3/8 & 1/2 Oz. jig comes with a 4/0 Mustad Ultra Point hook, the 3/4 Oz. has a 5/0. Head color is Black only. And two new colors I just added. #90 Toledo Bend Craw #91 Threadfin Shad
  12. Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Nice dear Clayton!!
  14. Plano 3700's for organizing all of my jigs.
  15. I know. I can not wait. I despise this time of year except for the hunting. Wake up and go to work in the dark and come home right before dark.
  16. If you keep doing the same thing you've been doing, you will keep getting the same thing you got. What I mean by this is you must adapt to the conditions or make the necessary changes to have a positive result.
  17. Green pumpkin. Any flake you like. Its an anywhere any time color.
  18. This!!! I'm on my 4th boat. I had a 16ft 20hp then a 17ft with a 40hp then I went to a glass 17.5 135hp. Now I have a 20ft with a 225. Slonezp is dead on imo. As I grew as a fisherman and started wanting to fish bigger lakes and traveling further. I as a fisherman had to progress in boat and skill.
  19. I have become real fond of St Croix in the last year. Their Legend Elite rod is awesome. I also really like Loomis. Would I fish a different rod. Sure. I just like these two.
