  1. Tough day but it was rewarded with a nice fish. Congrats.
  2. Very nice write up JT.
  3. Is the drag too tight? It almost sounds like the hook is pulling free when the fish turns to run. Fishing cranks or small hooks I know I have to take my time and finesse them. I know when I trout fish with those size 18-24 hooks that I can barely see or tie on one minor mistake the hook pulls free. For me bass fishing or walleye with the 1-1/0 hooks I have found the same. A lighter drag but keep the line tight works great for me.
  4. That is a nice White! Congrats.
  5. Thanks!!! The Dredge head has been a great seller since I added it. It probably outsells everything else or real close to my Big O jig. I've fished it quite a bit before and still do. This jig and the Big O are by far my favorite.
  6. I mostly throw 8lb flouro but like Arv said its mostly going to depend on the reel spool size.
  7. Swim jig trailer or a shaky head. This little jewel has replaced almost all my shaky head baits. I pick it up before any other bait for shaky head fishing.
  8. All in all most productive for me would be about 8-15 ft. for where I fish. I do catch fish shallow and deeper but the bulk of them come from this depth.
  9. Wow, Thanks for sharing.
  10. Any post 86 is LE and Mil only unless you have an 07/02 license. This all falls under the 1968 NFA Act. http://www.atf.gov/firearms/nfa/index.html
  11. I hope you have an 07/02 license.
  12. I use XD50. Its what has always been run through the motor with no issues. So I wont change. I pay about 27 per gallon. I might order from Slonezp site. I figured it up and I can save if I order enough of it.
  13. Call a few insurance companies. When I bought my boat for the coverage I wanted the year ranged from about 250-800 for similar coverage. The 250 was through my company already and the coverage was actually a lot better then the 800. Bass boats are actually fairly cheap. Keeping them running on the other hand. LOL Just for an example. I changed my trailer bearings. 80 dollars. Changed plugs, lower unit lube, and a few other small parts. About 150. The plugs alone were 60.
  14. Congrats!!
  15. I use my hunting bibs and jacket.
  16. I think I have one. I'll look around.
  17. That is what I was thinking.
  18. Here are my 2 latest jig colors I just added. Storm Jig JFrancho This is a great natural looking craw color. Next one is Bluegill Flash. This one is a great swim jig color or spinnerbait color. Thank you! http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/
  19. Looks like a great outing!
  20. I have it dvr'ed. I did watch last night. That lady creeped me out. I thought she was a talking zombie. Next week will be interesting with that kid going down from sickness in the compound.
