LOL, Na, I dont like throwing them that much. Wears on my shoulder real bad. After that Striper trip my shoulder was done. Its a sign of me getting old.

I'd have to say my Grandfather. The days we fished together I learned more and more about him. I learned alot about WW2, those years, and his youth. I miss those days.

If you are referring to the traps with the silver hooks I've always changed those to owner or gami hooks. I have always had issues with those hooks and fish throwing the bait. Once I change I never have an issue. The problem I ran into if up sizing some hooks might tangle with the other hook.

I use too. Anymore I like catching fish. If I'm bass fishing and catch a pike. I see it as just a cool bonus. Or like at the road trip when I caught that big drum. Fluke and I laughed about it. It was a good conversation fish. LOL

I think its pretty cool how many states all of us fish.

What are you trying to feel? The bottom? If so, your weight might be to light for the conditions you are fishing.

I dont reel down on them per say. But I do reel up the slack.

One piece. I prefer every aspect of weight, sensitivity, and looks over a 2 piece.
