They last forever for me. The first pack I bought a few years ago still has 9 in it. The first on I tried had no tail action whatsoever. Apparently you need some weight on the rig and I prefer a Shadalicious or Powerbait hollow swimbait anyway. Maybe I just got some duds.

#1=Rage Shad. Can be fished anywhere including most places you would not get your buzzbait back from. My fish catchinest bait the last 2 years.

I use them quite often. They are the #1 frog I throw in lighter vegetation when I'm not chunkin' a Rage Shad. The softer body allows for better hookups but also does tend to wear out quicker and get hung easier. At 1/2 the price of the others you mentioned, and the fact they catch fish for you tells me you should keep using them.

Great T-rigged by itself or as a jig trailer when you need a bigger profile bait.

I like to swim it over shallow grass. caught some real nice ones this past weekend. (pics in My Fishing Trip or Tournament section). Big-O has another winner in this bait FO SHO! No matter how you fish it, it's killer.

What took so long??? Listen to Big-O. He is wise beyond his years, not that he's old or anything. He can find fish in a parking lot.

Finally got a chance to get out with Dad this past weekend. His first time since his throat surgery. Got out mid-morning. Water was very high with temps 52-53. Hit the spawning flats with a rage lizard and got a bunch but 12-15". Moved in a bit shallower and tied on an Eeliminator. About 10 casts later, wham this girl hit. 21". 5 1/2 lb. After a couple nicer ones, this girl bit. 19.5" 4.4 lb. For reasons only god can understand, Dad wanted to go in and watch the Cubs so I dropped him off and went back out. Hit the same area and about 30 minutes later got this one. 20" 5.2 lb. Called it a night after a couple more 15 inchers. Next morning, temps dropped to 49 overnight but I went back to the same areas and nada. I decided to call it quits right before this one hit. Just over 20". 5.0 lb. Not a bad day and a half and watching the old man catch a few was the highlight. It still hurts missing the Pickwick trip but this took a little of the sting away.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Big-O but never had the pleasure of fishing with him. Also, I'd love to share a boat with Bobby M. and Dozer just to watch the two of them going at it.

Man- All I can say after reading these posts is I missed a phenomenal trip. Couldn't make it due to crap at work that is getting worse by the day. Sounds like I should have just quit and went down there. Congrats to all and I can't wait to see the pix. Leo- you could have sent me some at work to make me jealous and get me through the day.

Wow- I remember some years ago the lake I am on flooded almost up to the house. We were kids at the time and catching fish off the back steps in what was a week ago the back yard.

Ditka would have just flattened him. It wasn't Dozer, was it?

I know if I said what I thought, it would be deleted in a second so I won't even bother. If things are so terrible here, stay where you are! How many other countries give you your not only your drivers license test but also your citizen's exam in your foreign language?

To all you moms out there- Happy Mothers Day! And to all you fisherman out there, guys in particular like myself, don't forget to wish your wife and/or mom Happy Mothers Day. Remember. you wouldn't be here without your mom. All that have lost their moms, like my sister-in law, we are saying a prayer of regrets and thanks for all they have done for us. No sneeking out and going fishing today. 8-)
