    26. This should be taken before you are allowed to vote!
  2. Well said. All I use. Slide the worm over the barb on a SK shakey head and texas rig it and you're good for 50 fish. Roboworms do come in some pretty cool colors though.
  3. Only 21 Kelley? Where am I gonna put my stuff? ;D
  4. Well put, Speed.
  5. The best way to use it is when you are in someone else's boat.
  6. Depends. I use both as my boat has a forward compartment that holds 6 360's and my bag holds one on each side. Otherwise, 370's.
  7. I have to respectfully disagree. Although I haven't seen all of them, recently I have watched KVD on Kentucky Lake, George Cochran on the Arkansas River, Mark Menendez on the Coosa River and KVD on Lake St. Clair, all very public waterways. I did see Greg Hackney using his namesake jig on what might have been a private lake etc. but that's it. I really like the Angling Edge show with Al Lindner. He's always on public water and always catches fish. Good explanations of what he is doing also. Classic Patterns and Bass Pros are pretty good too. There is a show called Time On The Water that is filmed on waters I actually fish and that's probably my favorite. I will never watch a Bill Dance show again. Nothing against Bill, who in his prime was arguably the best there was, but I can often see him get bites by the way his rod reacts before he says his signature "there he is". Although I do *** his having a place like that to fish.
  8. You've obviously never handlined in a 20 lb musky on a tip-up through 2 feet of ice. Man, I have to move to a warmer climate.
  9. Good job and great pix!

Nice to see the lake when the wind isn't howling at 30 mph like it was at last years roadtrip. Good luck to you guys. Hope to see you at Pickwick.
  11. Hard to beat an X-Rap.
  12. Tried them and didn't like them at all. No tail action whatsoever. Had to really crank them to get any movement. Maybe I just got a pack of duds but it's the last pack I will get. Better plastic swimbaits out there. JMHO
  13. Much as I hate to admit it, I have to agree with Burley. CX is not as stiff as CXX. Still wouldn't use either on a spinning reel. The Braid/Leader combo JFranco brought up will work fine if you want a strong, thin line.
  14. Think about how the line is actually put on the bulk spools. The spool is horizontal and rotated to put the line on, much like a baitcaster. The best way to put line on a reel is to reverse this process and use the pencil method. Never had a problem doing it this way. The flipping the spool over until you don't see line twist method is hit or miss. Another tip- Always close the bail manually and pull out any slack, reducing the chance of reeling in a loop deep in the line which will be a nightmare to get out. That being said, 6lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultrasoft has been my choice of late, but good old Trilene is tough to beat as an all around choice. I use 12 lb. hybrid on a 4000 Shimano for skipping Senkos and Ikas under and around boats and docks. Balance the rod to the reel and you will be fine.
  15. Now that it is official, I heard the park is going to bolt all the chairs to the floor to avoid any mishaps.
  16. x2 mine went out today Trip Nazi. X3 Mine went out today. Lay off Mike guys. He's not old. (Ugly maybe)
  17. Poor Denny. All he caught was a "measly" 6 1/2 pounder.
  18. Pinnacle1- A couple years ago I bought an Extant EX30 spinning reel as a backup. The price was too good to pass up. However, the more I use it, the more it is becoming my favorite midsize reel. Silky smooth retrieve and unusually smooth drag. In my opinion, this is one of the most under rated reels out there. Only problem is it didn't come with a spare spool. Can you hook me up?
  19. Outstanding and overlooked bait. Totally different sound and vibration. Built like a brick sh*thouse too! Caught a 47" muskie by "accident" on a 3/8 oz. and it didn't bend a bit.
  20. I bet the box of wine will be very fresh!
  21. I'm touched. I just felt a warm feeling go through me. Wait, it was just gas. Besides, you'll probably have a limit off the banks of the marina by the time everyone else gets on the water. I'm going to join you and Glenn this time. You can jump in and free any snagged lures though. ;D
  22. All that and ProCrafter will be there for 5 days too! Too much to resist.
  23. Hasn't this been re-hashed about a dozen times? It does catch fish. Better than any other color - you have to be the judge.
