You're Invited to the 5th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
I agree. My check went out, first class, last Tuesday. First class is supposed to reach its destination anywhere in the contiguous forty-eight within three days. It hasn't shown up on my bank statement yet. But, I'm keeping a close watch for further developments. The postman probably saw FIRST CLASS and knew it couldn't be for Mike. ;D Did you ask for a receipt?

Three second fish memory 'just rubbish'
I say rubbish to the rubbish. Like any other species, humans included, ;D there will be some smart ones but the vast majority don't have a clue. Some years ago I hooked a nice bass on a Sluggo and it wrapped me around a stump and broke off. I quickly re-rigged up and cast to the same spot and bang!, hooked the same fish and got it in with the first Sluggo still hanging from its face. Did the bluegill thing several times off the dock. It's amazing how stupid they are. Carp, on the other hand, seem to be pretty smart overall. I don't know that they will remember stuff for a year and what the Dr. is basing his assumption on, but they are among the wariest and toughest to catch fish in my parts.

Cheapest Non Screw Loc Shakey heads?
I use these:http://www.***.com/descpageTERMSTRIKE-SKTFS.html Or Bagleys and I also use the 3X finesse worms. Price is similar but Bagleys gives you 4, Strike King gives you 3 painted, or 4 unpainted. Evo's are probably the best but a tad more expensive. They also will stand a regular plastic bait up better. Try here for best price:http://www.proanglers.com/catalog/pro_anglers_fishing_catalog.htm#shake2

The Worst Play In The History of Football
It was Jim Marshall. Age does funny things to your memory.

The Worst Play In The History of Football
If I remember, that was Carl Eller, with the Vikings. Favre is a great Quarterback. Yeah he has thrown alot of picks but he's also been around longer than just about anyone. 2 things I didn't care for, aside from maybe him being a tad selfish, were what they did at the end of the Cowboys game (just run the ball) and how he laid down so Strahan could get the sack record. Not great sportsmanship.

Put a smile on my face in an otherwise crappy day.

anyone use the gulp alive products?
Although it's a spray you're better off spraying into the package of soft baits rather than once it's on the line. I think it only lasts a few casts max. That's exactly how I'm using mine up. Spraying it into the bait bags and closing them to soak it up. If you really want Garlic that lasts, try some JJ's Magic. Just don't spill it. Powerful stuff to say the least.

Good fishing continues
Stop rubbing it in. There's still a foot and a half of ice up here! :-[

anyone use the gulp alive products?
I bought 2 bottles at BPS last year and have to say I was disappointed. Not much smell and washed off the bait pretty quick. Might work better with gulp products. I like the Chompers Garlic scent. Although it's not garlic, Megastrike is pretty tough to beat.

favorite pitching and/or flipping bait?
Great bait that not alot of guys use. Love the ringed body.

If not, just dig a hole and burn the empty boxes. Kill two birds with one stone! ;D

Original Silver Buddy
Kelley- Has getting it in the right hole been a problem for you? ;D (You had to expect that one) P.S. Link didn't work for me either.

After Ice Out
I've caught some pretty big bass icefishing. I don't target them but they grab my pike bait on tipups.
-
Respect
Raul- We'll have to get you up here and go ice fishing so you see what fishing year round really means! ;D
-
Respect
Hey Brian- Did you have some cheese and finish the box?
-
Original Silver Buddy
Kelley- We were using Heddon Sonars and Silver Buddy's last weekend to catch Walleyes on the Mississippi. My Brother-in-law was using a bait called a Zip. They were all working. Kind of like ice fishing out of a boat.

Spring Sales!
Send them an email or call. I'm sure if there is something planned, they'll let you know.

all the rage
Most baits in the Rage line are unique in shape. The ones like the Rage Hawg and Craws do have more action than similar type baits. That being said my favorite is still the Rage Shad, but of the new breed, I'm going to be fishing the Eeliminator alot this year.

Frogs for frog fishermen
The hook set-up reminds me of the banjo-minnow baits. I watched the second video a few times and can't seem to see a hook in the bait. Probably why it is riding higher in that video. Not too sure how it would work in heavy slop. I'd probably give it to one of my brothers grandkids to play with in the tub, less the hook of course.

Be warned- Steer clear of the cabin with the tricked out Bass Tracker parked in front and all the empty wine boxes on the ground.

Stocking Up On Frog Baits! Your Input?
X2. I use this one the most. Not too soft, not too hard. I will be trying R2S and Ish's Phat Frog this year.

Brush Hogs VS Rage hawgs
Brush Hawgs USED to be one of my favorite baits. Now The Rage Hawgs and the The Mad Pacas have replaced them. The beauty of any bait in the Rage line is that all the appendages come alive with the slightest movement. I never could figure out what those little loops on the Brush Hawg were supposed to do. Hey Big-O- A slightly smaller version of the Rage Hawg would be KILLER!
