I choose alone, but my fishing buddy is my son (5) to see his eyes when he catches a fish and now is my daughter whose 2 is starting to fish (sometimes no hook). ;D I don't with many friends I pefer alone.

gas price here is $3.72 gallon here Western Pa and I don't travel too far to fish but I did cut down on going up to camp from every weekend to every other and now I only pull my boat up there once a month :'( :'( too many hills going there so it sucks the gas down

I really don't listen to anything, I go fishing when I have a chance. I bought a berometric pressure guage, and it told me not to go fishing and I did but I caught a small fish nothing to brag about but I didn't get skunked.

I kill sometimes 2 or 3 a year but as soon as I feel smallest tap I pull my rod back a little bit to see if I feel a fish on the end of my line.

go early in the morning or later in the evening and try a topwater frog like a berkley across the lily pads. also try a carolina rigged lizard those always work for me.

I bought a small inflatible boat it was $20 at walmart to use. It had oars with it I took it out on a shallow river and I was more frustrated with smacking my @ss off of rocks from sitting in the boat that I took my knife to it. ;D

when I first started to fish I didn't know how to tie a knot so needless to say when I got a bite the fish took my worm and took off and I was standing there scratching my head wondering what happen. That was a few years ago, I look back and laugh now but it wasnt funny then ;D

I agree with everybody here save up and get marine carpet, I'm own a flooring store and I put outdoor carpet on my boat it looks good for the past 2 years and still looks good but when I drop a lure on the carpet its stuck I gotta get my pliers and pull it out try this with 2 kids on the boat that always drop their fishing lines onto the carpet with hooks it makes a fun day. but other than that the carpet holds up to the wear and tear. all yea I forgot I keep it outside with cover on it all summer until fall then I put it in my garage for winter

well brian I think you have enough volunteers to almost get around the U.S and part of Canada

that's looks like a deal but to take that much money out of their account for gas they'll go out of business. I know that their trying to sell cars. I don't think that's going to get them anywhere. just my 2 cents
