  3. I absolutely Hate that feeling . . . . It's a tick and then . . . . . nothing ! I always wave my bait-less rig around for like a whole minute just cursing up a storm. Vision 110's and Jackhammers are the worst ! A-Jay
  4. I learned the hard way by just leaving them in the boat for years and expecting them to be good. Interesting thing is, they 'look' fine but don't before as needed any more. Still kept most of it and it's now used as 'dog working' clothes. At this point, it might stink a little. A-Jay
  5. That's last years pic, meaning before the re-stock and the bait monkey influence. And don't forget to factor in all the after market hardware & treble hooks on every bait. When $20 bills start catch big brown bass, I'll use those instead. Until then, I'll keep trading them in. A-Jay
  6. Something that has worked for me over the years to maintain water proofing in gear, is to ensure the gear is routinely cleaned & maintained. So at least a couple of times a year my rain/cold gear get the treatment. Clearly that could be more if it get's used more. But if I spend a day in the rain, rather than just drying my gear, it get 'the treatment'. Quality gear can be $$$, maintaining it is part of that. A-Jay
  7. Been using these products to care for performance outer gear for a while. Works for me. A-Jay
  8. First off, my experience here comes right before hard water but after the fish have relocated to wherever they will be spending the winter. Catching suspended fish, can be a real hit or miss proposition. Especially for cold water brown bass. After having little success at what you've tried so far, I'd be making a change. I'd forget the suspended bait all together. IME smaillies don't waste a ton of energy chasing suspended bait all over the lake, especially in cold water. But instead spend far more time stationary just chilling out. They go & feed when it's time, and then it's back to a mostly neutral posture. For me that means Time to Focus on my mapping and bottom contours. To start, I'm not looking "for bass". Instead, my efforts would be focused on areas & structure that can hold bass. And I expect them to be Right ON the bottom. Deeper areas with a steep / sharp point close by could work. A deeper Saddle areas between two shallower humps can produce. Cover or wood in or near a deep hole can be gold and hold a lot of smallies. These fish are way easier to find and when I do, and I get a bait in front of them, they are usually willing to cooperate. Small swimbaits & blade baits do most of the heavy lifting for me. Good Luck A-Jay
  9. Got to admit it ~ I'm sort of surprised no one has doubled down and gone with the 3/8 oz 6th Sense Devine braid swim jg with no trailer . . . . #joshjones A-Jay
  10. Total Body 3 this morning. Performed the reps and all the sets but I went pretty light. Had to drop my wife off at the local Oncology center for her chemotherapy right before I trained. To be honest, my mind was somewhere else. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

  17. Save the postage & handling. You've got a better chance seeing The 'Intuitive Angler' using a FC leader, than me ever throwing another Glide bait. #donedeal A-Jay
  18. Yea - I hear ya @PhishLI There's a lot of those baits out there that are mostly defective. The nerve of some people. Luckily, I have been (unofficially) designated as a national Pop Max Recycling Center. So if you'd like, you can simply send those horrible baits straight to me. Then you can take solace in knowing that I will make sure they get what's coming to them. A-Jay
  19. Glide Baits. Sold every last one. #freeatlast A-Jay
  20. Go up your profile. Click my attachments. It will show you how much 'space' you have available. Guessing there will need to be some deletions made. A-Jay
