    That's grown one ~ A-Jay
  2. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  3. Of course, You Could. But the rest of us mortals, might have to work for 30 lbs, at least a little. A-Jay
  4. I'm pleading the 5th on this deal. A-Jay
  5. Total Body 3 this morning. Three working sets felt good but I can tell I'm going to benefit from an extra day off. So I'm taking it. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  6. And that's my ENTIRE Game from Aug thru mid Sept. The bigger & shallower the 'flat', the better. Seems wrong to everyone, except the schools 5 & 6 lb brown bass. A-Jay
  7. Too early ~ A-Jay
  8. Just got finished with an inventory review and other than a couple of packs of 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG's I'm looking pretty good. The new/updated trolling motor & entire electronics package, well, that's a totally separate deal. #robabank A-Jay
  9. @Munkin Thanks for the support. For me, true deep diving jerkbait fishing is a different deal vs throwing them in 10 ft or less. Using them to solicit bites in water 20 ft plus is all about bottom contour & deep water cover as well as loooong casts. https://youtu.be/8p_YjczqvhE?t=454 Good Luck A-Jay
  10. Romanian deadlifts are all about form. Decent movement to stress hamstrings and lower back. Keeping a tight torso, a flat back and a slight bend in the knees is preferred. I've done them in the past but prefer to target those areas in a different way. Old Guys doing that are just asking for trouble unless they stay light. And light don't do much unless we're rehabbing something. Hypertrophy requires a certain level of intensity & mechanical tension to do it's thing. Loading up on a Romanian deadlifts is not something I'm doing. Too much can go wrong. I prefer the partial dead lift I do. I can load it and still move through a range of motion that gets the same job done. A-Jay
  11. Awesome ~ Should have seen how far my jaw dropped open when that video popped up in my cue. I sat right on the cold cement deck in garage to watch it . . . . Oh and right back at ya Muskypaloosah ! A-Jay
  12. Please ~ Can we just admire the fish & the fisherman's ability and make no reference to where he's at. Does it matter? Are you going there ? If you know great, but don't be That guy. A-Jay
  13. Not Helping ! ? A-Jay
  14. Works for me ~ btw - Mr. Moua did a very nice job concealing the bait(s) he was using. Not that there's anything wrong with that. A-Jay Especially us 'Old' smallmouth guys . . . . Either way, the writing's on the wall. It's getting harder and harder to ignore it. This might be the one that pushes me over the edge in the form of an updated electronics package. My fear is that by the time I 'figure it out', I'll be too old to use it. Life is short. A-Jay
  15. No. And I never ask or even try to find out. A-Jay
  16. I was exposed to very little if any famous bass fisherman growing up when I did. Ramdon articles in Boys Life was about the extent of it. Wasn't until adulthood that specific bass fisherman appeared in any 'media' that I read. Even still, I fish quite a bit of gear and baits that came packaged with KVD's face and or signature on it. A-Jay
  17. Here's something you don't see every day. Mind blowing ! A-Jay
  18. Do computers know more about fishing than we do? From where I'm sitting, that wouldn't be saying much. A-Jay (btw-I wrote that all by myself)
  19. The Boston Bruins (38-5-4) became the fastest team in NHL history to hit the 80-point plateau, reaching the mark in just 47 games. That's two games quicker than the 1979-80 Philadelphia Flyers and 1943-44 Montreal Canadiens, both of whom reached the mark in 49 games. Just trying to savor every game at this point. A-Jay
  20. I use a Brecknell ElectroSamson https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Brecknell_ElectroSamson_Scale/descpage-BRECK.html and an Accu-Cull. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-ACCUCLL.html?from=basres Both with a 6 inch Rapala fish gripper. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_Floating_Fish_Grippers/descpage-RFFG.html I use the Accu Cull the Most. Also have a Boga Grip, as the emergency back up https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/BogaGrip_FIsh_Scale/descpage-BOGA.html They all work for brown bass as well as green ones and they all seem pretty accurate. But none are "cheap". A-Jay
  21. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Nice Intro. A-Jay
  22. Total Body 2 This morning. I sleep an average of 7 – 8.5 hrs a night. Just depends on if there’s open water or not. My resistance training is performed in just over 90 minutes; after a solid warm up. The remainder of everyday, I’m committed to doing whatever I can not to undermine the above. This includes proper nutrition and sufficient hydration. Staying lean, strong, healthy & balanced is always the objective. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  23. I just re-read my post. Every where it says Caulk please change that to CHALK. #iamaknucklehead A-Jay
  24. @Anthony Watson Congrats on the New Rig ! Best of luck with her. Looking forward to the pics ! A-Jay
  25. Makes sense too Because most every airlines 'on time' standards STINK ! Perhaps they should spray the entire industry. But I'm not bitter. A-Jay
