  1. Been studying this here anatomy chart. Seems they left out that crawfish excretion zone. A-Jay
  2. Total Body 3 took center stage this morning. Performed 3 working sets of six movements. Showing one of each here. Haven't done the seated face pull for quite a while, so the focus was on form. The rest will come with time. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  3. How about a ride around ? A-Jay
  4. Hello Pat and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  5. Total Body 2 this morning. For the next 10 weeks at least, I'll be working the total calories back a little at a time. Hope to keep the energy up in the process. It's early on, so I felt pretty good in this one. Performed 3 working sets of 6 movements. Showing one set of each here. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  6. Sure thing. Something I didn't add before but should have. I fish walkers to sort of cover water or at least to fish 'an area'. Poppers for me are target baits. I'm usually throwing them 'over something' Weed edge, point tip, isolated wood, dead jet skier . . . You get the point. A-Jay
  7. ALL I fish is clear water - like tap water clear. Long casts are paramount. Walkers work for me but are a better choice when there's a little ripple on the surface. Poppers ARE THE Deal in the Flattest, Calmest conditions. Walkers & poppers have accounted for several of my biggest brown bass. Exhibits A & B from this season are linked below for your viewing pleasure. Sexy Dawg ~ https://youtu.be/sOBk7MV01o8?t=104 Pop Max ~ https://youtu.be/sITpRNLz_04?t=413 A-Jay
  8. I need readers and have for a while. All my sunglasses have readers in them. I wear progressive lenses around the house. They work well, took a while to acclimate to. Still, not a fan only because I need them. Rarely wear them outside - they totally kill my peripheral vision and I hate that. Don't wear glasses to drive or shoot; unless there's a scope involved. 9. "If you don't enjoy fishing when you don't catch a fish, you shouldn't be a fisherman." There is so much more to it for me than simply wetting a line. Slipping the net under a fat bass is the cumulation of quite a bit of time & energy that doesn't show up in the end of season fish catching stats. But it plays a huge role and I enjoy it all. Including this thread. So my response would be something like . . . For me to be successful, I need to love it all. Fish catching results will take care of themselves. Bass Hard A-Jay
  10. The term pattern, is a bass fisherman's deal. Bass don't care. My advice is to switch gears. Stop fishing like a 'client', and fish like 'The Guide' that you are and have always been. A-Jay
  11. Works on Megabass Jekbaits too. However supplies are dwindling pretty fast A-Jay
  12. Agreed ~ I use the view pictured below to help track most of what I need all in one shot. The 16th was looking good to me so I went. Was rewarded with some pre-frontal topwater action . . . . https://youtu.be/iRYF1wxu4Kw?t=190 I am a big fan of pre-frontal bass fishing. A-Jay

Hello Calian and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  14. Thank you and right back at ya Steve ~ Keep it rolling Here's to a productive 2023 to us both ! A-Jay
  15. After a couple of 'off days', I felt really good. Back in the gym this morning. Started my 2023 fitness campaign off by switching a few exercises. Definitely eased into those. Looking forward to seeing where & just how far this journey takes me. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  16. The reason an angler may be targeting One Big Bass has very little to do with the out come IMO. There are Giants caught every season. Some had been targeted, other's were not. Either way, both had to be in the right place, at the right time and doing 'the right thing'. So that doesn't change. I say fish for brown bass and start well before they even think about getting on beds. Oh, and dress warm. Good Luck A-Jay
  17. Have used them in the past in plastics and also on jigs. Started that deal fishing at night. Prefer glass as it seems a bit more 'clicky'. Don't use them as much now except for one singular application. Tubes. Rattle gets inserted into the tube and is held in place by half a foam ear plug (split length wise) and soaked in Megastrike. Not magic but it doesn't reduce bites either. Fish Hard A-Jay
  18. I do not do that. A-Jay
  19. Nicely Done Sir ~ Congrats A-Jay
  20. OK First I think you'll need to have reasonable expectations as to what the benefits & limitations of a bodyweight routine with no weights or pull up bars may be. Here's some thoughts on body weight only. . . Legs will benefit from some type of squatting and or Lunges. Chest, Shoulders & Triceps require some type of pushing against gravity. Back & Biceps need to be pulling - something. Core is easy enough - crunches or a V-up and there are couple of hundred variations. Not sure if you've considered them but resistance band can be a decent way to get some work done too. I use these . . . https://ironinfidel.com/collections/gym-gear A weighted vest can amplify just about any exercise - - I having been using this one for a long time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ROVW4TI?tag=nside-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1 Seems no longer available but there are many other very good units. This man is a great resource and his channel is loaded with information that could help you specifically. A-Jay
  21. Excellent ~ Thank you. Very helpful ~ Now What's your objective with this body weight workout ? What do you expect it to do for you ? A-Jay
  22. I do ~ But without knowing ANYTHING about . . Your age General health Any physical limitations (injuries) Have you ever exercised regularly before how much time you want to commit to this and there's more. I can't really offer an effective deal. If you don't feel comfortable here send me a pm A-Jay
