  2. Young Mr. Wheeler still makes that same face holding a bass. Just add the "Ding". ? A-Jay
  3. First 'wind direction' is not static. Meaning there are many factors that can & do alter it's direction over land & water. Both Topography & Fetch both play huge roles with regards wind. You've heard this a million and a half times, and if you haven't, and you continue bass fishing, you will. There's no replacement for time on the water. Especially YOUR water; the places YOU fish. Each & every environmental condition is different and a separate occurrence. And while it Can be the same as a previous event, there's no guarantee that it will be or that it has to. #norules. Wind can & will 'blow' into areas that seem in complete opposition to the overall direction it's coming from. Meaning a N or S wind can still blow into a E or W facing cove. And it doesn't end there, sometimes it seems like it's blow from two different directions at once. I call that 'fishing in the vortex' and I'm not a fan. Now add all the regular variables associated with where & when bass feed and we've got a real puzzle on our hands. Stay Safe. A-Jay

  7. Back in the home gym for Total Body 1 this morning. Took two days off. Between these two training sessions I ate 15 meals, hydrated with 3 gals of water and got 24 hours of sleep. That's where the commitment truly lives. Completed 3 working sets of 6 basic movements. Showing 2 sets of each here. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

My Dad's side of the family came here from 'the old country.' Grew up in a neighborhood where everyone's last name ended in a vowel. The smells floating through the air on Sat & Sun were heavenly. Many of my friends parents didn't speak English. But they sure were loud. I was exposed to some wonderful foods. Pasta was served with every meal. Sauce was 'gravy'. Most everything was made from scratch. Learned how to make much of it and I LOVE IT ALL. But it's not the healthiest deal, so I have all but abandoned eating most of it now. A-Jay

Regardless of my on board soft plastic or trailer selection and associated supply, the Best Bait of any day Will Forever be whatever bait/color I have the very least of with me. And to take it a step further, once I 're-supply' and head back out. That particular bait might never get another bite. #truethat ? A-Jay

  13. If we're day dreaming, a giant brown bass would be my choice. Prefer to do it at night too. Because I just want to hold her for a few seconds. But as previously discussed, I'd need to think long & hard before I'd share such a catch. #hideinplainsight A-Jay

Ok ~ Good to know A-Jay
  15. As I get further and further down the road, the value of my time on the water increases more and more. So while getting a discount on the tackle I use is nice when it happens, the reality is that savings, pales in comparison. And if you squinted a little after reading that, you'll see. A-Jay
  16. I'll say Yes ~ Just not today. And personally, I expect her to be caught in Tennessee. @roadwarrior ? A-Jay

  22. It's just a lead bullet weight. Here's some more info . . . Pretty sure I'm not the only one, but I've been throwing this thing around for a while. Here's a video I made about it 10 years ago. I think this is the very first video I ever posted. A-Jay

In my defense, except for some spare plastics and terminal tackle, I carry most everything seen in my Baits album IN MY BOAT all season. So while there's always different versions of More & Less, Unless the bassheads in this thread can take their entire home full of gear out on the water with them, I am not even REMOTELY in the same universe. Just a guy going fishing A-Jay
