  1. Two days ago I made the legendary, commercial-grade Honda HS1332 track-driven snow blower available for sale. Purchased new in 2012. We have a potential and fairly motivated-sounding buyer scheduled to come and see this unit along with my asking price—cash in hand. A successful sale will provide half the funding toward the new replacement unit. Essentially the newest / updated version or model of the same unit. The HS1332 ATD adds a few important features, mainly easy maneuverability. The additional option of an electric start with the pull start backup will be nice as well. Fingers crossed. 🤞 A-Jay
  2. We will not forget. This is the home of the brave. We will live in the peace that their sacrifice gave. A-Jay
  3. I fish jerkbaits a bunch—especially early & late season. Been using casting gear for jerkbaits for coming up on five decades. When the wind is in my face, I switch to Medium / fast spinning gear. Casts and works the vision 110 effectively. It just takes the backlash deal right off the table. This is from a couple of weeks ago. Good Luck. A-Jay
  4. The rainy season in the area of Mexico where Lake Baccarac is located runs from late June through October, with the heaviest and most frequent rainfall typically occurring in August. While the wet weather brings lush, vibrant landscapes, the lake water level can and often does rise several feet. During this wet period, the lodge itself is routinely closed, but anglers are back late September or early October depending on the weather. We're booked for the end of the 1st and into the 2nd week of October for this next trip. So 136 days, an entire rainy season, and a wake up. A-Jay
  5. Workout Day 4 ~ Stepping into the home gym today with a bit of a bad attitude. Walked out with a better one. #borninfiftynine #roadto1000 A-Jay
  6. Hard to say what an average order-to-build-to-delivery time frame might be. Either way, that did seem pretty quick. Figures—because speed wasn't part of 'the plan.' But what it did for me was reset my lease turn-in date. My lease wasn't up until 01 November— Picking this one up now with a full 36 month lease, I'll be doing this next time in May 2029. Hope it doesn't snow. I am pretty pumped about this one. A-Jay
  7. 16 May 2026 #roadto1000 continues with Workout Day 2. When it's about building a strong, functional body, the scale only tells a fraction of the story. Tracking the relationship between my chest, waist, and hip measurements is one of the best ways to measure true progress. The Waist-to-Hip Ratio: This isn't just about aesthetics; it’s a vital marker for metabolic health and fat distribution. Keeping the waist leaner relative to the hips is strongly linked to lower cardiovascular risks. The Upper Body Frame: Tracking my chest measurement alongside my waist helps ensure I am building or maintaining vital upper-body muscle mass while not adding much in the way of visceral fat. True fitness is about composition, proportion, and longevity. #borninfiftynine A-Jay 19 May 2026 Workout Day 3. This session starts off with a cable sissy squat, which helps set the tone right off the bat. When I first started doing this one, it took me a while to learn how to get the balance and the range of motion just right. Once I did, my leg training went to another level. #borninfiftynine #roadto1000 A-Jay
  8. 04 May 2026 After another mostly killer day on the water and the required recovery off day, I’m back in the home gym for Workout Day 1. Today’s focus: 3 working sets of 12-15 reps this time, across 5 movements. #borninfiftynine A-Jay 06 May 2026 Feeling a bit gassed today after a rough day on the water yesterday—cold, wind, and whitecaps took a toll on the core and legs. Still, the streak continues. No excuses. #borninfiftynine A-Jay 09 May 2026 Workout Day 3 ~ Grew up a child of the 60's, next thing I know, I am in my 60's. Time waits for no man. Don't waste it. #borninfiftynine A-Jay 11 May 2026 Workout Day 4 ~ I’m currently running a slight calorie deficit and will be for a couple more weeks. Multiple and sometimes long days on the water make it a little easier to maintain. However, my training intensity, whether metabolic or mechanical overload, needs to reflect this as well. I think this one did that. Also, I called an audible and switched up my scheduled triceps movement. #borninfiftynine A-Jay 14 May 2026 Workout video #907 My two scheduled days off are behind me, and it was time to get back in the home gym for Workout Day 1. Those off days mean a lot to me for a couple of reasons: they give my muscles and CNS the recovery they need, but as soon as I start my warm-up routine, it’s crystal clear that I can never stop training. The work continues. #borninfiftynine #roadto1000 A-Jay
  9. As of yesterday, my new rig is at the local GMC Dealership. There's a decent list of dealer installer options / accessories. So that will keep them busy for a few days. Looking at taking delivery at the end of next week. Can't wait ! A-Jay
  10. @Kirtley Howe That seemed like a seriously harrowing experience, like you haven't already been through enough, man. Glad you made it through and are home. Hope you have better days ahead. A-Jay
  11. Nice Brown Bass - I am jealous of that weather, as I need to be in a snowsuit to get any good ones. You should just go ahead and establish a new state record yourself. Just to put an end to all this madness once and for all. Congrats. 😎 A-Jay
  12. Managed to add a bit to my last entry ~ She went 6.15 / 9.98 gets me 61.6 ~ I'll take any and all upgrades I can get. One brown bass at a time. Especially when competing against all you scary good sticks. A-Jay
  13. Due to the recent lack of site availability— Any and all state vs. state entries caught within the thread rules—but during the downtime, will be accepted as valid. So the one-week time frame to post a catch here has been adjusted for these particular circumstances only. I might even have one myself . . . 😎 A-Jay
  14. Celebrated Mother's Day this year by catching a couple ~ A-Jay
  15. First off, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. Launched onto Menderchuck just as the NW wind kicked up. High 30s air temp made it brisk, but the 48-degree water stayed clear. After a slow start on the outside edges, I moved shallower toward some old standing reeds. That was the ticket. I caught two trophy smallies almost back-to-back. The first was a 6.15 lb tank (my biggest of the year), followed by a 5.51 lb beauty. I was having such a hard time reading the scale in the wind; I could barely remember the numbers, but the camera caught it all! It felt good being prepared for the conditions. There’s nothing quite like the sound of the loons and the weight of a trophy brown bass in the net. A-Jay
  16. Welcome Back Bass Resource ~ Headline: Great to be back! Man, it is so good to see the lights on again. This place has been my online home since 2008, and it didn’t take long to realize how much I miss the daily camaraderie, the wealth of knowledge, and the great people here until the gates were temporarily closed. A huge thank you to Glenn and the tech team for grinding through the downtime (and the thousands of whiners like me) to get us back up and running. To the finest forum membership in the fishing world—it’s game on. A-Jay
  17. There ya go ~ It looked like a super nice day out there with Tons of bites. Plus you got to chunk and wind all day. 59 bass is half a season for me. Congrats A-Jay
  18. Thanks - Mr 108 bass in two trips ! I might not catch 100 bass by August. She was the right kind for sure. Fish Hard 😎 A-Jay
  19. At some point between the 2nd, 3rd & final 4th attempt, I'd have been rethinking my life choice big time. You are not a girly man. 👌 A-Jay
  20. Last century I used mono forever—Stren mostly. The first versions of FC I tried were really bad, so I went back to mono for a stretch. A few years later, the word on the water was that FC had finally improved, mostly in knot strength, so I gave it another shot. After cycling through a few brands, I landed on Seaguar. I started with Red Label (not a fan) and moved to InvisX, which is solid and still has a place in my rotation. But once I spooled up and fished Tatsu for a season? I was done looking. I still use all types of line for various applications, including Big Game Green—one of my favorite topwater and shallow jerkbait leaders. Braid lasts me a long time, but I’ll re-pool mono or FC the second I think the line is compromised. Bulk spools rule. A-Jay
  21. Nice Musky Bud but that's pretty brutal ! Please tell us those daggers were barbless . . . . Stay Safe A-Jay
  22. Sweet ! Way to go. And all of that felt very good. Now go wash your pants. A-Jay
  23. When we say Tank loves to jump. We really mean Tank loves to jump! #bigair A-Jay
