  1. You going to make me try this aren't you ? A-Jay
  2. Setting realistic short & long term goals has proven fairly beneficial; especially when it comes to this training. Of course that's the easy part. The execution, not so much. Still, this morning went well. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  3. Where do they stand on Tide Pods ? A-Jay
  4. When I first heard the term, I thought someone was insulting me, again. A-Jay
  5. If there were no brown bass here ~ First, I'd sob pretty heavily for a while. Then, I'd need to trade in my rig for something more suitable to target, Big Water Lake Trout & Salmonids. A-Jay
  6. Good to Go Thank you A-Jay
  7. Done A-Jay
  8. Total Body Workout #3 ~ Weighed in at 150 lbs at the start of this one. Last rack pull was 3 times body weight for 10 reps. Nothing broke. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  9. Been through a few models with various levels of success. Current favorite A-Rig is G Funk Baits Bama Rig with Strike King Rage Tail Swimmer, Keitech Swing Impact FAT and / or Strike King KVD Swim N Shiner Mounted on Dobyns Light Hook Swimbait Head or Dirty Jigs Tactical Bassin' Finesse Swimbait Jig Heads or VMC Boxer Jig Head – usually all 1/8 oz. Baits are usually less than 4.75 inches. A-Jay
  10. Both times ? (sorry my friend) A-Jay
  11. The oak leaves are The Last to drop. Often waiting until there's plenty of late November or even December snow on the ground. So I've had occasion to blow both the leaves & the snow, at the same time. #bigmess. Good Times. A-Jay
  12. Sounds like a most excellent name for our next Big Dog ~ A-Jay
  13. Doesn't do much with 2 inches - kind of a waste of time. When there's enough snow, This Honda HS1332 will blast it away. Have never had an situation where the unit was unable to do what I needed it to. With as much snow as we get and the size of the areas I need to clear, if it didn't do it, I'd get something that did. 14. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  15. That is exactly why I have the unit I have - not interested in shoveling that mess. This machine is a beast and has yet to meet its match - and there's been plenty of opportunities. https://youtu.be/zl0DDZEBbKk A-Jay
  16. You bet there's Problems Big Brown ones ~ j/k No problems at all. I hate the clam packing and remove every bait from them. Including all things Rage . . . A-Jay
  17. Awesome Fish ! What a way to start the year, a Double Digit Donkey Congrats A-Jay
  18. Great Bass Congrats on the new Personal Best. Now go staple your scale to your forehead. A-Jay
  19. We have lots of 'yellow slush' up this way ~ We don't eat it A-Jay
  20. Yes there certainly is a saying - and it's very technical too. We call that Slush . . . A-Jay
  21. Thanks A-Jay
  22. My rig is Not a speed demon by any stretch, especially by today's standards. But she'll get me where I want to go in a safe & timely manner. When the 'juice' is several miles away and or spots are some distance apart across open water, I can certainly appreciate that. However, beating the boat and my myself up just to get there doesn't happen in my world. The difference between 35 mph and 55 mph can seems pretty dramatic. I'll usually run my rig almost as fast as I can safely go. Good Times. https://youtu.be/cCE7y_0QlVU?t=292 A-Jay
  23. I hear that ~ While the Scounger is a player for me south of the border, I haven't had any in my rig to fish locally in a couple of years now. But the swingheads get wet, and quite a bit. Wrote this one mostly for northwoods brown bass but it might help. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/211811-brown-bass-tools-~-questions-answers/?do=findComment&comment=2467689 A-Jay
