wind direction
In my quest for brown bass, wind direction IMO, is one of THE Most important environments factors effecting my fishing success. @BigAngus752 covered much of the reasons as to "why" above, quite Nicely Too I might add. While I always want to be safe, but bottom line is, given a choice, I always want to be fishing in the wind. Always. https://youtu.be/s5YAlFDZ_C4?t=1040 Fish Hard A-Jay

Weather simply won't cooperate.
It's been snowing here on & off the last two days. While I generally do not fish in that, for once you know who's not complaining about it ? This guy. Because we've had open water for almost a month (which is crazy), the colder temps might prolong the pre-spawn bite some, and when I have been able to get on the water, there's been carnage ! It took me a few years
I think that it's fair to say, that bass really have a hard time knowing what any anglers tackle selection might consist of. Additionally, I don't believe that I'm too far off the mark when I say that they probably don't even consider this when deciding on whether or not to strike a bait. It took me a few years but eventually I figured out that being in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing, seems much more of a priority; especially to the keen senses of a mature fish. So while my personal version of doing the right thing, sees me having a few options, it plays very little role, if any, in the other two deals. Fish Hard. A-Jay

Lake Baccarac Lodge In Mexico
Thanks for the heads up but not in June, it is Way Too Hot for this northern boy. Like 115 in the shade type of hot. I did an April & a May trip through the years and they were plenty hot. So, I'm good waiting until after the rainy season, when the lake fills up and the air temps come back down out of the stratosphere . . . ? A-Jay

Boat Wax & Cleaner
Klasse - All in One is very good. This unique formula dries just as quickly as it’s applied, so application is quick and easy with no risk of streaks or hazing. Klasse All In One Polish cleans as you apply it, removing light oxidation, minor swirl marks, old waxes, and other minor surface defects. Since it is non-abrasive and does not contain any silicones, it will not stain plastic, vinyl, or rubber trim pieces. Klasse All In One Polish is so versatile, it can be used on virtually any nonporous surface including fiberglass, gel coat, metal, glass, plastic, marble, vinyl, painted surfaces, and more—it’s also excellent for marine and aviation use. http://klasseusa.com/kalsse-all-in-one.html A-Jay

Best time of the day to fish in prespawn?
IME, time of day does play a role in the early season. However, it seems to be connected to the environmental conditions much more than during the warmer months. So early and or later in the day can be good or bad depending on what the weathers been doing, as well as what it's doing while I'm fishing. Conditions can change so very quickly during this time of year for me, firing up a wide open world class bite but also shutting one down just as fast. I've had as much success as I have had failures attempting to "time" the whole thing. But when I get it right - It's like Magic Man ! So I'll keep trying. Fish Hard A-Jay
