  4. It's a product usually used on vehicles. An essential step to prepare paint for polishing and waxing Removes sap, bird droppings, and other contaminants Leaves paint completely smooth Regular use helps prevent oxidation Allows for more effective polishing and waxing There are two more common 'types" This is the older style https://www.amazon.com/Griots-Garage-11153-Paint-Cleaning/dp/B003POLA84/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=auto+clay&qid=1586742004&sr=8-9 This is the newer version https://www.amazon.com/Griots-Garage-10691-Synthetic-Brilliant/dp/B072HHT8NF/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=meguires+clay&qid=1586741887&sr=8-11 When done correctly, it really makes a significant difference in the finish. 5. I do like that one- it's light, and strong and does the job for me. Something often overlooked but is important for self-netters like myself. It really helps if the net is "balanced" as well. That way I'm not 'fighting' the net as well as the bass. This one is that as well. The whole evolution is hard enough . . . A-Jay
  6. I'm a purest and I think it's 'Weird' ! But guys hammer fatties with it, so what do I know. A-Jay
  7. Nice ~ That's the way to do it. While I know I need them and have 'learned' to like them (a little), I seriously hate off days. A-Jay
  8. Nice @Smells like fish But I hope it's no because you think I resemble that thing . . . A-Jay
  9. Really Nice ~ Bet that was fun Congrats A-Jay
  10. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Plenty to learn here, you're going to Love it. A-Jay
  11. Still Working ~ Staying Lean There’s a fine line for me between sufficient calories and too many. However, quality whole foods, portion control and timing always offer a chance to see my best results. #borninfiftynine #fitforlife A-Jay
  12. I use casting & spinning gear; both with lighter line (10lb usually) I've tried several trebles on the 100's & the 110+1's and I've come to like Gamakatsu EWG Treble Short Shank Magic Eye #4's. Sticky sharp, compact, and super strong. I will also add that I have been known to hang a red KVD short shank EWG on the front hanger from time to time. Not that it helps catch Big Brown Bass or anything, I just like the way it looks. A-Jay

  19. I am a routine treble hook user. Extracting treble hooks from a net can take up to 60 whole seconds on occasion. But when done carefully, it rarely results in anything like this . . . Sorry @Hartwood71 but thank you for the reminder (painful as I know that was) A-Jay
  20. As mentioned, most top level especially broadcasted derbies ban net use. Has no bearing on what I do. Net use has been an important part of my personal and successful landing, handling & safe fish release system for a long time. YMMV A-Jay
  21. Cool ~ Thanks. A-Jay
  22. Nice ~ Now let's see this one rigged with the tube A-Jay
