  1. I do fish a double drop shot and it has been wild, and I can cover a bigger area of the water ! I like the VMC spin shot hooks for this.
  2. Very cool,I fish them and the Tiny paca craw on a drop shot also and it works great!
  3. I too like it! I hope it works out!
  4. As for the weight on a t-rig you can peg it with bobber stops, one bobber stop in front of the knot and one ahead of the weight so now you have the best of both worlds, you can peg or have the weight free moving by just sliding the rubber bobber stops up or down!
  5. Zoom Lizards are a great bait and they catch a ton of bass, for that price STOCK UP!!! You can fish them alot of ways but I like to C-rig them like RW said and I like to T- rig them. The 1/8 oz.weight is good for skinny water but the deeper you fish the more you have up side on the weight. I fish the 1/8 oz from shorelines to out to 15 ft. anything deeper 1/4 to 1/2 for me.
  6. Me too. and I love that net! You are talking the Hiber net right? When I take people out on guide trips I always use the net! When fishing with buddy's I lip them or swing them! But that net is cool and it stores nice!
  7. I just found out today that there will be a bigger brother and it should be born sometime in June!
  8. They are so easy to change,I fish the round and the long skinny drop shot weights. But the long ones work better in rocks.Because they are so easy to change I fish the two I never fished the teardrop.I think you can get by with two,I don't think you need all 3!
  9. There could be something coming!
  10. Netbait came out with a little swimbait called the little Spanky ( 31/4 in. ) with a ribbed mid body and a paddle tail. It will work great on a drop shot,A-Rig,or as a smal swimbait. Great colors too! Tackle Warehouse has them and another site too.
  11. X-3 I should fish it more than I do. For me the CD 7 was my go too bait years ago in silver/black. My first big walleye came on one that was just under 8 lbs.! But I have caught a ton of bass on them.
  12. I would use JJ's on the trailer but not the hair of the jig.If you want to put sent on the hair go with the Megastrike like the others have said!
  13. I too would go with the NorthStar jigs, get the best wright away! I would say, start to swim a jig to get comfortable with jig fishing. And once you have faith in the swim jig try fishing it other ways and then get other jigs and weights to fish cover better! The jig has always been a big fish bait! And like Hooligan said there is no magic color,it depends on the water color of your lake.Go to your lake and turn over some rocks and see what the crawfish look like in your lake and copy them.
  14. It could be the color you guys are using? Try some other colors and give it another try.
  15. like I always say if you can't catch fish on a Senko' Take up Golf!
  16. Hootie, The Okeechobee is not the color I was talking about. It has blue flake but it is a cool color. If you want to see the color I an talking about= go to TW and look up Netbait Paca craw and take a look at the magic craw color,it is more of a peral blue hue to it.If Zoom made this color, I would be all over it!!
  17. Hootie, I was thinking of another color! I went on the Zoom web site and I did see the color you were talking about and it has like a gold flake. The color I was looking for is Magic craw in a Brush Hog. It is a greenpumpkin with a blue pearl hue to it. I don't think Zoom has it in a Brush Hog or sometimes they make custom colors for bait shops ect.
  18. Well I will have to get some. I do well with the Netbaits in that color on a NorthStar molting craw jig! The Brush Hog is one of my big fish baits on a T-Rig.
  19. Does Zoom make a Green Pumpkin Magic? Or are you fishing another brand? That is a HOT color!
  20. NorthStar swim jig and his Flip & swim with a Netbait Baby Paca Craw or a dirt dawg. Oh, I forgot the Football jig too in Molting craw and a pumpkin trailer and a PBJ with a greenpumpkin Tr..
  21. Teal is spot on here! I do target big bass with baits like 3/4 to 1 0z. football jigs and I swim them in deep water on the bottom. And I like Netbaits big 11 and 15 in. C-Mac worm.THE END
  22. For me it has to be Greenpumpkin,Candy Bug,Junebug.
  23. I like the fact that it goes 10 ft. but I have enough cranks I am in love with soft plastic!
