  1. Quit it guys, my eyes are welling up!
  2. Was gonna originally suggest parking the poat in such a fashion that you wouldn't even need to net the fish, but after finishing the vid, I guess that wouldn't have been the hottest idea either.
  3. I've added a current article to the original post. Two teens who could have been in the crash had they not waited for the van to go first. These guys were 1st on scene and did a heck of a job with the kids while waiting for EMS. These articles deserve reading just as a reminder. Thanks-Brian
  4. Good job bassboss, now stay after it!
  5. but we've got 4 local children without a mother this christmas. My local church has lost one of it's own. http://www.marshfieldnewsherald.com/article/20081217/MNH0101/812170371/1732/MNH01 and http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081218/WDH0101/812180615&s=d&page=1#pluckcomments
  6. Rootbeer, this IS a free country but how can you rationalize doing this to a child? Have the parents hang these labels around their own neck and see where it gets them. The children are pretty defenseless, but on the other hand if mom and dad want to change their own names and see where that gets them.....JMO
  7. Prices here bumped a little the last couple of days. Are we looking at a bit of and upward trend or do you think it's just because of the up coming holidays?
  8. Agree with RW, but I would add, and I think RoadWarrior hinted at this, that a person needs to take a hard look at their self. It's not whether or not that you can do the job, it's how the job is done. Tact and demeanor mean everything. My neighbor has a phrase he uses to describe people with tact. "They can tell someone to go to the devil in such a fashion, that they actually look forward to the trip". If you can have that kind of effect on people, I'd say you have a good head start.
  9. My brother sent me this a few months ago. Worthy of a reprint! This one had me just about on the floor. ;D
  10. Isn't there a way for him to dry up and blow away? :
  11. I can't even express my thoughts, someone would have to lock the thread. Not knockin' the mods, just saying I would get carried away.
  12. Sweet! She looks right at home.
  13. Catt, just seen the post. Really sorry to hear that. As was said earlier, extremely unfortunate for all. I hope that faith can bring them through this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers to all. Brian
  14. Bourbon RW? George Dickel #7. It's not just for sippin'
  15. Yep he was Olebiker. In his early career he spent alot of time in small oater roles, and through the years was in a lot of John Wayne movies.
  16. Thanks for the responses guys. At least I know I'm not alone. A few posts ago when Glenn was telling everyone to upgrade to E7 and people were having small issues, he had them press F5 to refresh. I had my mom do that late last night and just talked to her. She said she hasn't had a problem since she did that. :-/
  17. At first glance, I thought it was pig brains!
  18. Fluke, if I had a buck or two, you don't know how easy it would be for me to be at your door step tommorrow. And you wouldn't get rid of me until spring thaw. ;D
  19. I'm just glad that so far we've had a relatively mild one so far. I know there's plenty more winter to come, but I'll take all the nice weather I can get.
