  1. I know they say color doesn't matter, but if it were myself, I would probably use bright colored stuff. I would also use stuff that makes noies or vibrations. Like a a spinner bait with colorado blades.
  2. How do you put pictures in to the thread without making it an attachment. I wan't to put a caption on my picture like this: Here is my fish: "Picture of my fish here"
  3. If you can post a video, I would like to see it. Theres a bunch on youtube heres one: This sounds very interesting I'm definately gonna have to try this this weekend Oh yeah. I didn't think of that. Thanks man!
  4. My favorite lure for rainbow trout is the panther martin. It's just a little spinner, and it will catch small trout, but it will also get the big ones! I also like the super duper. It is also a spinner and looks kind of odd, like a bent piece of metal, but I swear by it. It works wonders in the rivers, streams, and high mountain lakes of Idaho.
  5. If you can post a video, I would like to see it.
  6. Yeah man, keep it up there, and you'll have a monster for sure!
  7. Thinks he's the most sexy poster on this forum. (We all know otherwise) ;D
  8. I just polished off a 6-pack of those. :-[ A 6-pack? Uh-oh! Haha. You've got yourself set for the season!
  9. Most of my fish are caught at around 10 am and 5 pm.
  10. Maybe try a 4 or 5 inch floating lizard on a carolina rig and bring it across the top of them.
  11. I love the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs!
  12. Well, it could be longer... Legend has it, the Gitzit (tube) was designed as a "do nothing" lure. When fishing gets slow, toss out a Gitzit, pop a beer and smoke some cigarettes. "Deadsticking" can involve hours! As a method, drifting is probably the most effective (and least boring) approach. Any soft plastic will work. If you have the patience, you will be pleasantly surprised. 8-)
  13. That's pretty awesome! Nice northern fish!
  14. I was in Dicks earlier and saw a Team Diawa spinning reel and rod outfit. It was only $19.99, and I'm a poor college student. So would it be worth it?
  15. I've shore fished one time. I used shrimp on a 12 inch wire leader. If you're going to buy stuff to fish the beach, ask the people working there what to use. I went to get my license at wal-mart, and I asked the cashier what I might need, and she helped me out a bunch.
  16. You're disturbing HER fish? Haha. What a joke.
  17. Not bad at all. Wish that I could be fishing today...
  18. Thanks guys. I have a hard time figuring out how to know what kind of presentations the fish like with each kind of plastic.
  19. Nice! What a monster! You never know what she's going to want on any given day.
  20. That's a nice setup you've got there. How about keeping the seat where it is and putting the storage on the other side the boat.
  21. Agreed.
  22. Thieves burn me up. I agree that that is not the way that I would want to start my day, but that guy deserved what he got. Work for what you want/need. Don't take what other's have worked for. I'm sure that I'm just preaching to the choir.
  23. Yikes! Figures that would be somewhere in the desert.
  24. I would be alright with eating a bass. My favorites would have to be some nice rainbow trout or some Idaho Salmon.
  25. I agree. It would be amazing to go see what you could do with your skills and see if you could make it with minimal resources.
