First thing to start my morning was this 4.7lb bladed jig fish as the sun started to rise over the Sierras. With water temps already in the 67-69 degree range it’s gonna be an interesting summer on the delta...

TW. Order vs Shipping dates
I understand and can relate @Hammer 4 with the TW shipping situation, considering SLO is a little over 3.5 hrs away. Pre-pandemic, if I place my order before 1200, GSL would have it on my porch the following day with free shipping. Now, we’re looking at two week shipping times unless you’re willing to pony up for expedited shipping fees. My latest order arrived Monday after a two week delay. I did call TW about the shipping delay. As everyone has already stated, the TW employee said they were just getting slammed and they were trying to keep up. I asked if the new Georgia location was receiving all of their attention to the detriment of getting orders out of their SLO location. I was told this wasn’t the case, the Georgia location should actually help get orders out faster. Fortunately, we’ve got lots of options to get fishing tackle

How to fish two people out of a boat
These two posts by @WRB are excellent examples of solving your problem @livemusic. The fisherman in the front of the boat operates the trolling motor and casts moving/reaction baits of his choice ahead of the boat. The second angler can cast follow up baits at missed blow-ups (if both anglers are amenable to it), pitch t-rigs, jigs, wacky worms and the like into the tules (reeds), the trough in between the grass, and through the grass itself. This allows the anglers to effectively and efficiently cover water while they pattern fish on that particular day.

2 shot club
The Mrs and I got our second Pfizer shot yesterday?. Both of us can say our arms are surprisingly less sore than the first shot. Other than my having a really low grade migraine headache that was gone in half an hour, no discernible side effects from the vaccine and I don’t anticipate any going forward.

The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!
Nashville Sounds is what I was thinking at the time I commented. I just checked and they changed their affiliation from the A’s after 2018. In 2019 the Sounds moved to the Rangers organization and are currently associated with the Brewers

The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!
Affirm, they did! Frustrating as it was they went up against the ‘stros and trolley dodgers and probably wanted to spot everyone in the division a few games ?

Flipping and pitching vs Punching?
In my humble opinion, and in furtherance of @J Francho above definition, this is what you would flip or pitch.... And this is the type of cover you’d punch...

Cheap beer connoisseurs : PBR vs Hamms

New PB in my first time ever fishing in a tournament
Congratulations @Kenneth Yi on your new PB and your first of many tournament fish. Hopefully, it was big fish on the non-boater side and put a little green in your wallet as well!

As I get better with the Drop-Shot - my hook is getting bigger. 2/0?
Beautiful smallie @J Francho. I’m using either a Rebarb 2/0 or 3/0 @Darth-Baiter and those size hooks don’t affect the action of a 6”or 7” Roboworm. Here’s my example of the results using the aforementioned on straight 15lb braid. BTW, hope you were on ‘em up at Clear Lake...

Broke an eye on a megabass whipsnake...what should I do?
Contact Megabass USA @clemsondds, FYI there’s two warranty repair shops listed on their website which are located in South Carolina. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right in my humble opinion. Hopefully this helpsthere’s two

The ideal lunch?
Currently my quick fishing day out on the water snack. Take a couple or three outta the freezer and throw them into the cooler with the drinks. They seem to thaw buy the time I feel like having a snack, and can be scarfed in three or four bites. * yeah I know I can make a PB&J sandwich for a lot less, but I’d have to make em. These are much more convenient IMHO...

Sit or stand ?
I pretty much stand while fishing @Skunkmaster-k the majority of the time. I don’t “Bill Dance” fish very much yet, I use the seat with the extended post to lean on when casting or pitching/flipping.
